Harmony genetic testing

how long did it take to get your Harmony test results back? Tomorrow will be one week exactly since I did the lab work and I'm dying to know the results since it includes the gender!! I'm so impatient!

I would call your doctor's office tomorrow. I am sure they can give you a time frame. I would be more curious about the genetic information than the sex of the baby

Why can't anyone just answer the poor girl FFS! I had the Mati21 and I was told one to two weeks. I heard back in exactly one week.

We did answer her. But the time frame can vary from clinic to clinic so her most accurate answer will come from calling the doctor's office

Because we're not her doctor's office? It's not very fair to say "oh, I got mine back in X days" and cause undue worry that hers are taking longer.

Drawn on Monday, heard back the following Wednesday. My office said 7-10 business days for turnaround.

I had mine done on a Monday and got the results the following Monday morning. However, I know some people have had it take up to two weeks. My office quoted an average of 9 days. Probably slightly different at different offices.

Harmony and other genetic tests have been covered multiple times already on this month's board. The information is readily available on TB and on the manufacturer's website. Additionally, each doctor's office may have a different policy regarding the release of test results. My doctor's office, for instance, had us make a separate appointment to discuss the (normal) test results. Some doctors will release the information over the phone. This will lengthen or shorten the turnaround time of the test.

When your doctor's office is closed or unavailable to ask these quick questions, doing a quick Google or TB board search before posting will often yield more information than asking a repetitive question.

Her question was how long did it take yours to come in. Yours, as in what was your experience. She's just looking for experiences, not medical advice etc.

And the point of my response being:

The testing company provides this information on their website (test results are returned to physicians within 7 business days)
Doctors' offices practices for releasing this information vary (so ask your doctor so you don't get worried if it has been a week and you haven't heard anything)
Questions about Harmony, Panorama, and other genetic tests (including turnaround time) have already been discussed already on this board (https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12504953/announce-the-sex-of-your-human-unicorn-velociraptor-here/p1 and https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12514504/panorama-test-results for a couple examples) (so don't also be concerned if only a few people respond with an actual number or date range - they may have already responded in a previous post and don't feel like giving repetitive information)
