Meltdown at Victoria Secrets...

So my verrrryyy sweet husband got me a gift card for my birthday to Victoria secrets. He knew I had been complaining about not having enough room/spillage from my current bras. What he didn't remember is that I had maxed out on their bra sizes prepregnancy. (They only go up to a triple D).

I figured I'd go ahead and at least try on a sports bra hoping one who fit. But Victoria secrets is a bitch and puts a shit ton of padding in a DDD sports bra. Seriously, who the fuck does that? I couldn't even zip/clasp the bra in the front.

I of course, started to cry when. I realized there was no way I could even fit half my boob in one of their devices.

My husband then felt bad, and said the reason he got me a gift card for Victoria secrets is so that I could still feel "sexy". Bless my sweet man's heart, we walked down to motherhood maternity and I finally made my first maternity purchase and let me say..... Holy moly I'm in love with these bras!!

Sorry for the long post and me being a little bitch about my boobage.

Anyone else had this problem or what are your favorite bras at the moment?

I, myself, had to take a nice trip to Destination Maternity. I will refuse to shop anywhere else for maternity!

I am not having the same problem but might I recommend using that gift certificate to buy one of their fabulous comfy fleece robes... It might not scream sexy but it is wonderful!

For bras, I have a nursing bra from Target that is so unbelievably comfortable and functional but was never able to find again.... It makes me sad

but maybe I will check out the ones at motherhood... Thanks!

I never thought about a fleece robe!!! That's a good idea!

I looked at target for a nursing/maternity bra and I still busted out. I had to go to a size E at motherhood. I think my boobs may cause more problems than my tummy, will on my back. Big boob problems lol.

I think I remember seeing a G cup at motherhood maternity. Their bras are great because all of them double as nursing bras and they were very pretty. I got a hot pink sports bra and a gray normal bra.

I had the same problem of spilling out of my pre-pregnancy bra too. I went to destination maternity and told the woman that my bra size was 36DDD and she didn't think she'd have anything for me. That really bummed me out, as if bra shipping wasn't miserable enough. But we found a 1x that fit that I've been living in since then. Glad you found one that works for you too!

Before pregnancy I could have used Band-Aids without a bra... These tiny things. X_X

I know they have E's at motherhood and we have a store here that has every bra you can imagine. I like the cloth bras when these jugs are milk filled. It's like packing around two hard cantaloupe ouch! I went from a DD to an E with my first and they never went back down.

I hate pregnancy/nursing boobs!! I have been wearing nursing bras for almost 3 years straight because I find they are more comfortable and I'm the same size pregnant as I am when my milk stabilizes after baby is born.

SO THERE....I am a 36DD and nothing fits. I was living off my sports bras, but even my biggest, most worn in ones make me feel like I am being suffocated. They are outta control. I went out and got a Target nursing/maternity bra, but I need a little padding. I teach so when I get cold I like to hid the headlights....My sister got me a gift card to Destination Maternity and am going there tomorrow. You are not alone girl.

I swear, I'm the last person to hit the boob changes. I'm still in my pre pregnancy bras. But I am a FF/G not pregnant, so really, they don't need to get any bigger- I'll fall over!

I dont know if Im jealous or sad of all the big boobies... I was in an A cup pre pregnancy up to a C now and still growing I'm kinda scared of how much bigger theyll get. Bye bye squito bites.

I have a ton of lingerie, that I don't wear, so I'm thinking I may try and find some comfy pajamas. Or I can buy my hubby so cologne

. Their stuff smells amazing. Who needs panties when your husband smells amazing!

I'm with you! I was until yesterday, but my shoulders were so sore that I finally went and got some with better support and I am such a happy girl today.

I went to destination maternity and got the c Reese bra (I think that's what it's called). It's so stretchy and comfy. I'm in love.

Is the Reese the one that looks like it could but a sports bra? I tried that one on, but couldn't get the sizing right. It was super comfy! It's supposed to be good to sleep in for support too!

Can totally relate. I hate my boobs. My usual size is 36C but I'm into the D now and soon it will be DD. And yes the padding is THE worst. And if I do find a nice bra have the time I wear it for the first time and after 10 minutes my boobs are trying to escape out the front.

I seriously would be a happy camper if I had tiny lil boobs. I hate bra shopping, always have! Plus, where I live I don't have the greatest shopping selection.

I may have to break out the nursing bras too!

Always thought I wanted boobs, A cup in high school and a small B since I started birth control in college. Got fitted last Sunday and learned I'm now a D. I knew they were spilling out, but dang. DH just stares at them. I'm afraid of how much bigger they're going to get as I'm only 17 weeks. I guess at least they're in proportion to my ass.

For the big boobs, I recommend you try Cacique. It's sometimes inside Lane Bryant. I hate to send non-plus ladies there, but they have some bras that go up to H/I. They don't have nursing bras, but you can buy an adapter for your bra and have a seamstress add it pretty cheaply.

I work for VS and get tons of free stuff, so I'm getting it all one size up from my normal size and stockpiling it so next summer post-baby I have new fun stuff! Oh and bathing suits...I love VS bathing suits! If you want something now, I love the boyfriend sweats. I wear mine all the time...cute and comfy!
