My husband and I both currently work. We have a 4 year old and expecting LO in June. I have been racking my brain to figure out how to be financially able to stay at home with my boys! I do pay $600 a month in childcare and about $400 in gas a month, but that still doesn't equal my take home. So just wondering if you're a SAHM how do you make it work and do you have any side income, and if so, what is it. If I could have some type of income on the side I think we could make it work, just not sure where to start.
Re: SAHM
Can you make anything? Like arts and crafty? Worth a shot!
You could make clothes .. Bake .. Clean houses.. Anything crafty that you could make and sell. It's a very hustle business though. I make diapers.. And clothes.. But don't sell anymore.
If he makes enough to stay home do it. You will just have less vacations.. Less spending money.. But it's worth it.
Also I find it easier to buy used things and save money because I actually have the time now if that makes sense. Like I can shop around at thrift stores and garage sales where as before I was busy working and didn't really have the energy or time to shop around all day for a specific item so I'd just go to the store and buy it. It that makes sense lol
