ttc...not my first rodeo, but I feel lost.

Hello! My first post here at The Bump. We are ttc our 2nd. Number one is now 5 going on six and in kindergarten. Awesome little guy :) We have been calendar charting, opk'ing, and laying in the fetal position with my bum up in the air after dtd. Sorry if that was tmi. I want to give my husband another baby and my son a new little brother or sister so badly. I am not getting any younger. I am not that old, but I feel like my eggs are shriveling up and dying on me. Haha. I am on my last day of af. Ovulation is right around the corner. Do any of you lovely people have any tips, tricks, or suggestions? Anything at all? I am sure my post is just like so many on here, but I am hoping some of you will take pity on me and throw me a bone! Who knows, one of your suggestions could be the key! (Also, I apologize in advance if this is not the right way to post here.)

    I don't go here, but since everybody who does go here is giving everyone the silent treatment, I'll give you some tips!

    Check out fertility friend and BBT charting to help pinpoint ovulation. OPKs are helpful but they can only predict possible ovulation, not confirm.

    The book taking charge of your fertility is highly recommended.

    Elevating your pelvis after sex probably won't help you get pregnant, but it's a wonderful way to get a UTI. The truth is, the strong healthy sperm are already well on their way to where they need to be and don't need any "help" getting there.

    Lastly, try sex every other day during your fertile window. Until you've charted a few months to really know when your fertile window is you kind of have to guess at it. DH and I basically did EOD from CD 10-25 and that worked for us for 4 pregnancies.

    I have never taken bbt before. Perhaps I will try. Have not tried wondofos either. I will order some. Thank you ladies for the tips! I had no idea there was any beef going on. I just wanted some support. I really hope all can be resolved. I hope that anyone, dark side or not, would be willing to help anyone in need! As I am sure, all of you have wonderful advice and support to offer.

    We are TTC #1 so I feel a little lost myself. I was suggested to try the fertility monitor or for a little less money try the digital opk sticks.

    I am trying the digital sticks first and I bought a thermometer to chart my temp but now I have to remember to take it before I start doing anything else. Lol!

    Good luck on your journey for #2!

    Ps - The book that was mentioned earlier caught my interest, I think will check that out.
