We use Enfamil Gentlease and DD does ok on it. She doesn't spit up a ton so as long as she is not flat a lot she keeps most of the formula in. I'm wondering if a hypoallergenic formula might work even better but it's really expensive.
We started using Similac for Spit Up. It has added rice starch in it. It's worked really well for us! We had to increase the nipple size though when we switched because it's thicker. (Went from a 1 to a 2 nipple which has worked fine)
Our doctor worked with us a lot on it. We went to slightly smaller feedings more frequently and would hold him upright for at least thirty minutes after feeding. Seems to make a huge difference with him and then we weren't giving him any medicine or changing formula around. He does need partially-hydrolyzed formula for protein sensitivity as well and that might make a slight difference. We've done well with either Enfamil Gentlease or Gerber Good Starts Gentle.
