I'm glad things went so well this time. Did RE say anything about Provera (prescribed correctly) to maybe bring on your period.
Well I guess he wants all his blood work first before treating anything.
I'm glad you have a plan B but I hope this new Dr. Can help you so you won't need it.
Selfish me is glad you will be hanging out with me a little longer cause I think I'm here for the long haul.

Oh wow, that's a lot of stuff but it seems like a good visit over all! I will be sending so many positive thoughts your way that Plan A works.

I hope if it's not making an egg, the cyst doesn't get any bigger.

hooligans4 nope. Provera won't work if the lining is thin. But we can give me estrogen to make it thicker and then Progesterone to sustain it if needed.

Nikolie93 good overall from a I love them and think we will be taking the right course and he'll be treating me correctly both physically and mentally. Not so great from the getting pregnant on our own.... but who knows... maybe that cyst is the missing piece to everything. it really hurts right now.... I think he woke it up...

I am so glad you have such a great RE and they are getting everything started right away. I hope your new OB is just as good. FX you guys can go with plan A but I love your plan B. Is their a reason you will use your sister's eggs instead of your own? Sorry, I may have missed something during my 1 month break.

@lcwed he's not sure I have any left to use. The 1" cyst was the odd part... but he felt like he may not have seen the right ovary because it didn't have any follicles left. The cyst could have an effect... but he said he wants to wait for the bloodwork before he declares no follicles.

If LH>FSH that's good... FSH>LH that's bad, we don't care about the number too much just the relationship because it isn't CD3. We'll also look at AMH and Estridiol but he said if AMH is low too and FSH>LH and nothing on U/S... time for sister's eggs.

So glad you found a good RE. As they say, it ain't over 'til it's over, so I hope the news you get from the tests is good. That said, I think it's awesome you have a plan B all queued up, just in case.

I "Loved" your post because I'm glad you found a good doctor. NOT because you are going through all this. It sounds like you both have a plan. I'm sending good vibes and thoughts that your bloodwork comes back in the right proportion and you are able to proceed with Plan A. But Plan B sounds pretty good too! Big Hugs for you.

@vh2014, yay for an awesome RE! I'm glad he was thorough and went through everything and listened! I know there are still unknowns but at least there can be a plan, even if it's a plan B! The unknown is always the worst thing. My fingers are crossed that the cyst settles down and all the blood work comes back A ok!

Glad it went well. That sounds like a lot to deal with, but hopefully you'll have some answers soon. I get cysts a lot and they (medical staff) never seem to think they're a big deal. I guess it depends how big? Also, I always feel them more after they see them. Not sure if it's the power of suggestion or what. Anyway, hope the blood work goes the direction you want it to go.

@dwmmwd nah, I was feeling it before. I told him I kept feeling like I was ovulating but I knew by my temp I wasn't. When he found it that explained it. Hoping it has a little egg in it, but he said he doubted it but would not rule anything out. That's one of the things l like about him. Tells you the truth but is totally ok with you hoping for miracles and to be the outlier. But is still honest about it.

So happy you liked your RE and that you have a plan. Am I interpreting correctly that you could move forward with a treatment plan without a period if the lab work looks ok? (Inferred from the comment about estrogen to make it thicker and progrsterone to sustain it). Just a side note, my left ovary "hides" a lot on my baseline ultrasounds. The NP I usually see knows where to find it now, but many times it's been MIA until the follicles grow. And I have PCOS so I have tons of follicles! Don't lose hope for your right ovary!

I'm glad your visit went well in the sense that you like your doc and starts getting some answers! I have my first appt in a few hours and my anxiety level is on a roller coaster ride. I hope mine goes as well as yours!
