stomach virus/hospital

Well my weekend started off with a bang. I'm 19 weeks pregnant and last night had horrible stomach pains which I thought was gas. Well that turned into vomiting and diarrhea for 5 hours. Got admitted to the hospital and hopefully going home tomorrow. I've never felt so sick in my entire life!

    Did they tell you what it is? How is baby doing? I have been bed-ridden at home since Friday (also the start of 19wks for me) with stomach pains that feel like intense nausea but not like morning sickness nausea. Wondering if I should go in too. It takes a lot for me to vomit so when I'm sick I usually get the pain but minus the vomiting. Hope you feel better very soon!!

    @babymath are you able to drink fluids? I had the stomach virus. I was literally throwing up every half hour to every 5 minutes plus diarrhea. Wasn't able to eat yesterday but woke up today with an appetite and they said I can go home. If you're worried call the dr especially if you aren't able to eat or drink. I was dehydrated so I needed IV.

    Fluids are fine but food has not been. It's subsided a bit today but if it's still there tomorrow I think I will go in. Glad you got to go home and hope that you're doing better and it stays away!
