Very active baby

I'm 38 weeks pregnant, and my baby is extremely active- to the point where it actually hurts and is very uncomfortable. I thought there was supposed to be decreased movement as the baby grows and runs out of room- is anyone else experiencing this?

    From what I've heard, every baby has different levels of activity. I haven't experienced a decrease in movement, but a change in movement as he's more shifting his body than giving kicks and jabs.

    I get this mostly after dinner especially when sitting because of the limited space in that position. I usually find comfort after laying down and she eventually calms down.

    At 29 weeks, I'm also experiencing a crazy amount of movement - all day and all night! It literally feels like the baby is trying to crawl around my sides to my back. I didn't know my uterus could stretch that far over! I try not to complain though, and remember that I have a healthy baby who I can feel growing inside of me. Good luck...you're almost there.

    Welcome to the end of your third tri! Most likely everything at this point will be pretty uncomfortable.
    Only about 2-4 more weeks and you'll have your sweet baby in your arms. Good luck!
