Hoping for a BFP

This is my first post here... I've been trying to conceive for about a year .. I have had irregular periods so my OB prescribed clomid especially since on my last cycle since I was traveling to meet my husband who has been working in a different state... I spent 3 weeks with him dec-jan. I did an Opk and got a positive while I was there. My period is due in the nxt two days but I'm not feeling quite like I usually do when my period is that close , I've been having some PMS symptoms but they r very slight.. I've been feeling quite tired though and had sore nipples for about 5 days earlier this week..
Can I be pregnant? I am so anxious.... I'm 31 and hoping and praying that I get a BFP!!!

Don't come to a TTTC board and ask if you're pregnant. If you ARE pregnant (which only a test will tell you), please do not come back here and update. Go to first tri or your BMB. If you're NOT pregnant, STOP TAKING CLOMID FROM AN OB. You could quite literally RUIN your fertility. Go to an RE. Seriously. What I'm telling you is for your own good.

You just did the equivalent of running into a support group of women trying to get pregnant, none of whom you know, and asked them to tell you if you are pregnant. If it wouldn't be nice in real life, it's not appropriate for here either.

I fully support PPs. Sounds like you don't meet the criteria for infertility (which is the defining feature of people who participate on this board). You haven't been trying for a year yet so presumably haven't been through all the testing. If this is incorrect, you need to introduce yourself properly so we can understand where you're at. Since you presumably don't meet IF criteria (irregularity does not equal a fertility issue!), and presumably haven't been through testing, the OB prescribed you Clomid because you were impatient. If you end up pregnant, good luck and there is no need to update us. This post is offensive to those of us who do have an IF diagnosis and are doing all we can to protect our reproductive health while on serious fertility medication. If you don't end up pregnant, DO NOT repeat the Clomid. If you get to the year mark, seek out an RE and get the proper testing and monitoring.

Hey all I did not mean to offend anyone by my post. I wasn't looking for an answer as to whether or not I am pregnant but was looking to get feedback on my chances and if anyone had similar symptoms. I've had irregular period for years sometimes I would have a period 3-4 times per year... I've had ovarian cyst before... But never diagnosed wit PCOS My OB has run a number of blood test and haven't diagnosed me with anything... But the problem still exist and I've been concerned since I haven't fallen pregnant (for the past 2 yrs) Since I got married I've been actively trying and that's for the past year- eating healthy, trying to figure out when/ if I'm ovulating etc so that's a little background.

Again sorry to those who thought my post was insensitive, I should have chosen a different forum as I fully understand what has been expressed. Also thanks for the invaluable information.

Thanks, and good luck. You may want to consider seeing an RE instead of an OB.

Good luck, however I do agree with PP's that you might want to consider an RE while taking clomid or any fertility medication. Monitoring is SO important.

@sugarapple11 - thank you for the apology. Like Rumbera said, there is normally a pinned post that outlines the general culture of this board. Since there's been a little drama and things have been shaken up, that has gone away. I didn't mean to come across overly harsh. Ever since our community kind of fell apart a couple days ago, I'm becoming more and more protective of my 3T home.

I certainly understand the frustration that comes along with irregularity, but Clomid is nothing to be messed with. If this cycle isn't successful, I hope you really try to educate yourself about the seriousness of fertility meds and get the full battery of testing that can hopefully give you more answers.
