Guess it hasn't been started. Today is hubby's birthday but he has a monster of a cold and has to work. Hoping that they send him home early. I also have a dentist appointment today. Two of my sisters are watching DS while I go. Then we are all baking some cake and cookies.

For anyone using a swaddleme on your LO totally swaddle over the shoulders so you dot have a Houdini on your hands. Just got 5 1/2 hours of sleep..longest stretch I've had since LO was born nearly 7 weeks ago!!

I went back to work on Wednesday & missed all the bump drama! It's taken me two days to read through other threads & get caught up...and now I'm back at work, pumping & bumping before my shift starts. I knew going back would be tough, especially since LO is only 9 weeks, but I didn't expect to be so exhausted. I woke up on Thursday feeling like I was hungover and beat up. I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday!

@Wolkie‌ that's annoying! Tell him to quit his whining..it's his own dang fault! I would just have the gardening service start coming whether he says so or not.

@everydaygirl83‌ sorry you're so tired! I got back in 4 weeks and I'm dreading it.

Well LO has been sleeping for 7.5hrs straight and I'm just staring at her in her bassinet. She's alive..how is she not starving?? I'm waiting on her to wake up bc as soon as i fall asleep she will wake up to nurse.

I know she is beyond ecstatic to have her son home, but I can't help but feel bad for her little family. It's like they can't catch a break.

That is so sad, I didn't know that could happen! Glad they at least can bring him home.

DH had to manage the crappy sleeper club member last night. For some reason, she kept waking up. She fell asleep at 10-ish and 1-ish for half an hour. Despite feeding, she'd stay wide awake. Apparently she didn't go down until after 3am and probably b/c he had to resort to "my trick" - take her to bed with you before you fall asleep on your face.

He just put her in the RNP at 8am and she's crying 5 minutes later.

I might have to blame the day care visit we did yesterday.

UGHH I got my first pp period and I'm pissed. I have a hunch that going on the pill kickstarted my cycle . I don't have any tampons yet either.... Just my leftover huge pp pads. Here's to being 13 years old again

I just ran 9 miles! I did a slow 11 minute mile pace, but hey, it's still 9 miles. Maybe I'll finally lose some of the remaining 20 pounds...

I'm proud that I walked around the mall twice this week. I was actually thinking about just doing a walk around the block or maybe tiki Starbucks thus afternoon if I can get the carrier position right.

Sorry if someone already posted this (it's pretty old). It makes me feel better about how long bedtime sometimes takes, albeit more because LO just wants to look at me and around the room--no serious talks yet.

My best friend came up today for our monthly craft date. She had so much to vent about and is in a low spot right now in her marriage. I'm worried about her now but she left in much better spirits.

Day one of driving: 12hrs done! Only one catastrophe, LO was great the entire way. My cat however pooped in his kennel! And rolled in it!!!!! It was awful! Bathed him at the hotel, the car smells terrible!
Hopefully airs out tonight! Have another 6+ hrs tonirrow

@Wolkie I think we're married to the same man! I can't even ask him to take out the trash without at least some grumbling. Yes, he is our only income and I appreciate how much he works, but that doesn't make him exempt from household stuff.

@BridgetThoams Hopefully tomorrow is better. I've been in that situation and it SUCKS.

DH had a wicked fever when he got up for work. They sent him home as soon as he went in. After spending the day resting, my sister and her FI made us dinner and cake. It was a great day.
