can anyone offer me sound advice?

So today im 14weeks with my very first baby. All has gone extremely well so far I've heard the baby's heartbeat twice now both times it was around 155 but this morning has given me reason to worry. I woke up and realized their was a bunch of blood on the seat of my pants well immediately I started to worry I went to the hospital and after an Ultrasound and pelvic exam they said my cervix was still closed and the baby is still moving and has a heartbeat they sent me home I got some rest cause the bleeding stopped well I just realized it started again it's very light. Im freaking out cause it hasn't happened at all in my pregnancy. Has this happened to anyone and if so was your baby fine and born healthy

    I agree, call your doctor they will investigate where the bleeding is coming from. I bleed around 14-16 weeks due to placenta previa any bleeding should be looked at my your OB.

    I already called my ob earlier after I was released from the er they gave me an appointment for Tuesday afternoon and said if I get to bleeding really bad go back to the er

    You are pregnant, and they are OBs. They are plenty used to women being nervous and badgering. I would badger a little bit more. Let them know you are looking for an explanation so that you can rest easy.

    This is what the on call OBs are for. I've called at all hours at various times. This is their job. Especially bleeding and not a lame question overnight.

    Call again. Get clarification about how much bleeding warrants a return to the ER.

    I'd also call again when the office opens to see if they can get you in sooner than Tuesday.

    Also, relax. Bleeding can be sign of a problem, but can also occur during a healthy pregnancy. Do whatever works to stay calm.

    Lay down, put your feet up and see if that helps. Wait to see at your appointment. I know that's brutal but stressing will make it worse. Try to reassure yourself that last time things were fine, you know babies alive in there. Unfortunately you need to trust that at the moment. If the bleeding gets worse go back to ER. This will just be a apart of your pregnancy story, hope it stops soon for you.

    So first thing's first....baby looked great at the ER, that's important to remember. Second thing is bleeding can be completely normal during pregnancy. Third, call your doc back and let them know that waiting until Tuesday to be seen is unacceptable. If they dig their heels in and insist on the Tuesday appointment once you've seen them and get this resolved I would be finding a new OB who will listen to your concerns and not make you worry all weekend.

    I agree with PP call your dr again and demand to be seen of they don't then find a new OB.
