Hi! I've been around TB on and off over the past year and a half or so (this is a new screen name though because I had issues with getting emails updating me on my pregnancy progressions after losses and that was just uncool). Anyways, I'm just getting back around now that I finally have a new OB after my third mc in November and hubs and I feel a little more hopeful about this whole TTC endeavor. I noticed a lot seems to be going on with recent changes, so I hope it's OK to intro now! You all seem like a great group of ladies and I'm sorry for your losses and struggles along the way.
In a nutshell, DH and I are pretty young, high school sweethearts who married during college, and in the year and a half we've been married we've lost 3 pregnancies. The first was at 11wks and we found out at the u/s, the second was natural at 6wks (day before Father's Day), and the third was this November, discovered when I went to the ER with pain from a ruptured cyst. That ER visit introduced us to the sweetest OB ever and she took us under her wing and actually wanted to help us figure out why we are having so much trouble, which is the opposite of our experience with our old OB. So in the last month I've gotten lots of bw, a new prescription for progesterone, and renewed hope. I teach high schoolers and so am thankful for kids to love on everyday, but there's nothing I want more than a little one of our own. Miscarriage is devastating.
I look forward to getting to know you all, thanks for the help you've already given in my lurking.

In my ER followup she sent me for a bunch of blood work, which I believe covered most of the standard rpl tests. The only one that came back abnormal was my progesterone level, so she's putting me on that this next cycle. I still need to go get the b/w for clotting disorders, probs should do that tomorrow! She sent my DH for a test too, just in case, but he was all good.

Welcome! I'm so sorry for you losses. Your new OB sounds great, I'm glad you found one that you feel good about. BTW, I am having the same email problem that you did. Apparently it happens to a lot of us ladies that have had a M/C.

@RoseTyler72 Yeah, I ended up making a new email address just for TTC related stuff so I wouldn't need to check it if I didn't want to! BTW, I love your screen name. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan. HUGE.

I'm so sorry for your losses. Having that loss right before one of the big parent holidays is so hard. I had one the day before mother's day. ((HUGS)) It is nice to have other peoples kids to love on for the day (I'm a teacher too). Finding a good OB is also such a relief.
So sorry for your losses. That is a lot to go through. I am glad you have a new OB who will hopefully be able to better to support you. Welcome to the board. I hope you find it to be warm and supporting.

Best of luck to you and YH! It's great to finally find an OB that you feel comfortable with! I had that same experience with my loss. The OB who did my D&E ended up having me see her at my follow up and she's sending me for bw and testing too. When you finally feel like you're being heard and cared for, it brings such relief. Welcome!!
