I don't really have a hard time having a bm.. but the gas pains are horrible and painful. What should I do or take to help this pain go away. Tia

  • Where would I find that I'm new

  • I would personally take a bath. But I know some doctors don't want you taking too hot of a bath, so I would ask them.

  • @melmac2013‌ it did get bumped to the second page but now it is right on the front page. There was one started today and now there is a weekend one started as well. It just helps to keep all of those questions in one spot and where others can relate.

  • You can take stool softeners or fiber ... And laxitives ... But if you are bleeding... No laxitives unless Dr tells you to. Warm baths.. No hotter than 100 °F .. Prune juice.,. Apple juice.. , Lemon water.. Helps.

For gas you can try gas x ..mylanta gas .. They are sage during pregnancy.
  • Yoga! Yoga for the win to help move the gas out!

  • Ask your Dr. About using a probiotic. I just started a new one and I no longer feel bloated and I have been able to have some good BMs . It's only been a couple of days :)

  • This may seem crazy but use a stool when taking a BM. Sometimes just having your feet elevated helps things move along or release the gas
  • I take stool softeners every day. With all this nausea medicine there's really not much of a choice:/

Okay all I can picture is someone sitting with their butt hanging off of a bar stool type stool and hoping for the best to make it in the toilet! Lol. I'm sure that's not what you meant but that is what popped in my head after reading that...!

I got really bad lactose intolerant with my first pregnancy and have remained that way since. So, just to give it a try, go off milk products and see if it helps. it certainly can't hurt, so trying it out for a few days may be worth it if that ends up being the problem! I love milk but hate the gas pains, so I just remember how bad milk makes me feel and then the cravings go away.
