Pumping and fatigued

Is it me? Or breastfeeding or pumping drains the energy out of you. I feel extremely exhausted.

    It's likely because its a new huge commitment that you have now (assuming you're a FTM). I'm an exclusive pumper and now how demanding it is and it feels as if its time to pump always at the most inconvenient times, but you'll make it through one day at a time!

    I'm eating well and taking vitamins and supplements but lately I can't get out of bed. I missed two days of work already

    You may want to get your thyroid checked. I developed hypothyroidism after my second child. Pregnancy can be a trigger.

    I was told in hospital by the LC that BF and pumping will make you sleepy. Due to release of oxytocin when you BF.

    But def get thyroid checked! I couldnt hardly function before I get my hypothyroidism diagnosis.

    I feel tired after pumping, as if I just finished a big work out, but not so ba I couldn't get out of bed. I didn't know about hypothyroid after pregnancy like pp said, but maybe also ask your my about your iron levels. A low iron level can also make you extra tired. (Not a doctor but have been anemic in the past)

    Lots of good advice above. One other possiblity, I learned while TTC that my body doesn't process vitamin b12 well in its normal supplement form so instead of giving me energy the B12 in my prenatals was accumulating to toxic levels in my blood. Switching to methylated b vitamins has made a huge difference in my energy level (and it appeared to restore ovulation but that could have been a coincidence). I had to see a naturopath who was an osteopath to learn about it, I was desperately seeking out alternative natural answers before starting fertility drugs.
