Any fun plans?

DH and I are trying out a newish restaurant tonight with 2 friends. It's restaurant week here in the 'Burgh, so several places have deals.
We're then going to see American Sniper.
I'm excited but concerned about my ability to stay awake for a late night movie :-S

No fun plans here. But you'll have to let us know how American Sniper is! I've heard pretty good things. I recommend a little late afternoon caffeine to get you through the late night movie! Restaurant week sounds fun too. Enjoy!

I also feel the same way about late movies lol. I heard the movie is great though, not sure if I would be able to fall asleep during that one! I will cry though, I am sure.

AFM? Tonight I go to a friends house and we get to strip the vinyl graphics off her car. I know, I know...don't be jealous of all the fun! She is making dinner though, and I will most likely be slightly intoxicated

I'm trying to do a late afternoon nap but have so far been unsuccessful. I'm not a good napper :-(

We had plans to go see American sniper tonight too! But as of now looks like DH is going to be called into work. The mill isn't running well today

Going to my favorite wood fired pizza restaurant with excellent beer on tap. Been saving my WW points all week!! Tomorrow wine tasting and dancing at a cougar club with my neighbor friends!! So excited!!

@furrypaws‌ , your plans sound more like my speed. DH definitely planned this. He's on nights this week, but off tonight. So, his day didn't even start until 4pm

I think Gone Girl is up on Amazon streaming, so it looks like wine, frozen pizza and a movie. I've read the book, and I'm pretty excited to see the movie.

@renegadewhit Gone Girl was fantastic. DH joked that as a date movie, it probably gave many people second thoughts about proposing and getting married.

Definitely seeing American Sniper with MH! Super excited. I thought I was going to be all domestic and do some baking, BUT, I got a crazy message today at work about people who left their dog and 2 cats behind when they moved out of their apartment. Ugh. It was horrible. Had to whip a rescue mission out of nowhere!

@PetraStonegirl‌ being sick with a loss of appetite is the worst! Hate when all food tastes like cardboard. Hope you're feeling better soon!

@furrypaws‌ that sounds like PERFECTION! I'm also craving some snow. We keep getting only 1-2 inches and then it all melts. I want some serious snow fall - at least 18 inches all at once! Nothing I love more than a glorious snow day where the town just sort of shuts down. My dogs love snow and they feel ripped off.

It's literally women and men 50+ who come out to dance and hit on women. I've been hearing about this place since I moved here...excited and scared!

@Rachaeleigh - Nothing makes me feel like an oldster more than going to a late movie. I get super tired, but I also sneak earplugs into the theater now. My poor ears can't handle the loud action scenes. "Damn kids, turn it down!"

I'm at work. With DH. And afterwards we are going out to this fabulous burger place with an even more fabulous "late hours" drink menu.

Aaaaaaand then, to bed. But not to sleep. Since... well... the bleeding has stopped and we can play again.

Warning: Potential TMI ...

This is our week of "romance" since I should be O soon. Anyone who has seen my comments knows I'm being utterly sarcastic as we fight every month about how much work making a baby is, blah blah blah. Well... When we're not stressed we are the couple that laughs, a lot, even during the deed. Something funny/ridiculous usually happens. Looks like we might be back on track bc earlier, in the midst if positioning, pressed-ing, etc hubs looks me right in the eye and says, "this is the most insane arts and crafts project. Ever." There was a pause and then I lost it, as did he.

For anyone that asked, I did like the movie. Leaving the theater at the end was very odd, which I won't elaborate on in case done haven't seen it yet
I survived the late night!
