Trouble TTC

Newbie Introduction

Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I may have posted once or twice (can't remember) on the knot while planning my wedding. I have been married for a year and a half, and TTC for 2 years. I had some fertility issues with my ex so I knew it wasn't going to be easy. But it still is hard the second time around. I have PCOS and did not ovulate with 5 cycles of clomid. I am 35, DH is 37. Nice to meet everyone!

Re: Newbie Introduction

  • Hello and welcome! Sorry that you find yourself here, but glad that you found us. Sorry that the clomid has not helped you ovulate. Have you asked your RE about next steps yet?

  • Well, a little more back story. Ex husband had low motility and low morph, me septate uterus, PCOS, and found endometriosis during surgery to fix septate uterus. This was 5 years ago. Attempted 1 IUI with RE, found my ex didn't really want kids, and IUI was unsuccessful. Fast forward a few years, now happily married, DH has no IF issues. So, I tried GP with my OB for the 5 Clomig cycles. Didn't work. So, back to my old RE and we are planning on starting with IVF right off the bat. We met with him yesterday, just don't know time frame yet. Today, just found out that 2 more friends are pregnant, in addition to both of our sisters and another friend. It has been one of those days.
