First prenatal visit today

hey ladies! I have my first prenatal visit today. I'm at 6 weeks today. I'm here wondering what to expect today at my visit?. I'm super scared bc I have been having dull pains off and on since yest. Nothing bad and they only last a sec. Had them for a hour yest and haven't felt them any more. I really hope it's nothing. I am hoping they will do a ultrasound today since I have been having the dull pains. I know the ultrasound will def ease my mind. Pray for me today ladies I def need it!

    Usually you play 10,000 questions, a dating ultrasound, a pap, even if you've had one within the last few months, and some bloodwork. You'll likely be given a huge packet of paper work of what tests you have the options of taking and what foods and medics are ok/good/bad.

    I  have my first today too!  I'm excited too know whats going on in there.  And the first poster was right on about what to expect.  Good luck!

    I know the feeling you think the hardest part is waiting the two to find out if your pregnant or not but that's nothing to waiting when you find out you are and your first prenatal visit.

    First apt went well. They just asked questions and took blood. I will have my first ultrasound in the 26 the dr wanted to wait to do it so we could hear a heatbeat. Can't wait!
