PIP: does this look like eczema?

DS has had this rash on his belly for about a week does it look like eczema/dry skin or something else? His 4 month appt is Friday so I'll ask the dr then but just curious if anyone has seen a rash like this before if it was something other then dry skin. Thanks!

    Some will say yes some will say no. I say no. DD had that and it's completely gone now. It lasted for about two weeks. It could just be irritated. I never got an answer for DDs tho.

    Thanks I know it's hard to say from a pic! I'll just see what they say at the dr appt on Friday.

    Possibly. DD had something similar and the doctor classified it as eczema but it didn't really look like the eczema on her face. Personally, I think she just has sensitive skin all together and it was just irritated by something. Regardless, the eczema lotion and Aquaphor cleared it up. I'm sure you'll get answers at your appointment. I would just avoid any soaps or lotions with fragrance for now.

    Looks like what I get from new clothes or certain detergents. So a skin allergy (edit: or contact dermatitis)but maybe eczema. I see eczema more on limbs than tummies.
