Greetings everyone. I've been an absent poster for awhile after leaving the infertility board and I'm looking to find a spot. I've been lurking on some of the boards and this one seems to be filled with nice drama free people.
About me, 2014 was an incredible year for my husband and I, after 3 years of trying to conceive we got our little miracle. After going through 3 IUIs and a cancelled IVF cycle due to very poor response we gave it one more go. Despite still only having one follicle mature we decided to chance it and it was the best risk we ever took. Our one lone egg made it and embryo and matured enough to get to 5 day transfer and then despite giving the appearance of a chemical pregnancy early on I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Sept 30. It's been absolutely wonderful, tiring and the most rewarding experience (despite lots of colic) of our lives. I have to admit that I would love to have another one but we just don't have the means to pay for any additional IVF cycles so we will be going the no birth control route and hoping for another miracle someday.
I hope 2015 finds everyone well and I look forward to getting to know all of you

8/8/13 waiting to meet with the RE to discus IVF
11/9/2013 IVF#1 canceled, only 1 follicle
12/26/2013 Starting Lupron for IVF#2
1/21/2014 Retrieval but we still only had 1 follicle so only 1 egg. Fingers Crossed!!!2/5/2014 BFP!! Betas 39, 54, 217, 1681 Slow rising but this is the little egg that could2/19/2014 1st U/S at 6w1d showed us at 5w4d but yolk sac, gest. sac and the beginnings of a fetal pole identified.2/26/2014 2nd U/S at 7w1d showed us at 6w4d and we saw a heartbeat!!! 133. RE says it's time to move to OBSo far everything is looking good
5/29/2014 It's a Girl!!!!7/6/2014 Failed my glucose tolerance tests, diabetic diet it is9/30/2014 Scheduled C-Section for Placenta Previa and she's perfect

Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!!
