Babymoon

My husband and I are taking a "babymoon" to Puerto Rico Presidents Day weekend. I will be about 21 weeks pregnant. We are looking at tours and activities to do and most of them either do not allow or do not suggest pregnant women go on them. The 2 tours we really want to do are a rain-forest walk/hike and kayak on bio bay. Anyone have experience with this problem? Any suggestions or activities safe for me to do.

I would speak to your doctor, she/he could tell you what would be ok for you, based on the type of pregnancy you are experiencing.

I've been to El Yunque (the rain forest) before, I think you might be able to do it pregnant. But maybe you guys should go on your own so you don't have to keep up with a tour. Otherwise, why not just spend time exploring Old San Juan or lounging on the beach?

Sounds like a fab babymoon btw.

I'm going to PR for a babymoon on Valentine's Day. I am so excited! My parents went recently and told me that we have to eat at Sofia in Old San Juan. My father does not stop talking about how good it was. Just a suggestion!!

We plan on laying on the beach, eating, and maybe getting massages. Kudos to you and your drive for adventure!
