Before I get started, yes I've called my doctor & I've googled, which has me convinced I'm going to have to have a hysterectomy and has me freaking out a little. I delivered one week ago naturally.
Anywho, maybe one of you ladies can ease my mind!
I was having issues with dryness & discomfort and assumed maybe I was having issues with the pads I was using, after changing those and still no help I felt down there to see if something might be wrong. It's like my vagina is coming out of my vaginal opening. The ridged part that is usually on the inside front more specifically. My OB nurse when I called said if there's nothing actually hanging out then it could just be swelling and to either look with a mirror or have my husband check. He looked and said that something is definitely not right. I'm going to call & make an appointment but until then, has anyone had anything similar & it be completely normal? I've worried myself pretty much sick so just hoping for some peace of mind!
Re: TMI- possible vaginal prolapse
There is nothing you can do about it right now other than make use of your ice packs and put your feet up as much as possible and stay off Dr. Google.
Anywho, it should straighten itself out in a few weeks and until then I just have to get used to being rather uncomfortable in the downstairs region!
