I'm making lunch tomorrow for one of the school secretaries - she was my "secret santa " last month- she was so generous and thoughtful I wanted to do something nice for her as a thank you ! She is also really warm and friendly- She eats every day with the other secretary, the school nurse and the principal -so i would be cooking for them as well -
I need opinions on what I should make for dessert -
I'm making chicken caeser salad & ricotta pasta w/peas-
I was thinking of making a lemon bundt cake, lemon cupcakes or chocolate tart - what do you think?
Re: Not TTCAL related - dessert opinions needed!
2 years of TTC, Seeing RE Feb 09, 2 medicated TI cycles - BFNs, 3 medicated IUIs - BFNs, back to medicated TI cycles until IVF approval, IVF approved in March 2010. BFP on last medicated TI cycle.
That is very nice of you, sounds good right now. My first thought was the lemon bundt cake to.
I think the chocolate tart is the way to go
I am a chocoholic though..
But I always like chocolate desserts after pasta/Italian food.
8/08 BFP resulted in m/c
3/09 Polyp removed and dx MTHFR (both copies)
6 Clomid cycles, all BFN
5/09 IUI#1 with Clomid=BFN
6/09 IUI#2 with Clomid=BFN
8/09 IUI#3 with Clomid=BFN
IVF#1 = BFN
IVF#2 = BFN
IVF#3 ET 2 Grade A blasts 11/16/11
Beta #1: 485
Beta #2: 2,495
I'm a chocoholic too! but I might go with the lemon as I will be less likely to "sample" while I bake - the chocolate tart is all butter , chocolate and sugar ..so good ...but so bad for me ..( and my snug jeans!)
