booked our baby moon!

We have saves up enough money to go on a small baby moon in April! We are going to Canada to see Niagara falls! Just applied for our passport card! Just so excited right now haha are any of you going anywhere? Where are you going?

    That sounds awesome! I'm not sure that we will get to go on a babymoon due to my and DH's work schedules but I'm excited for you and a smidge jealous. Have fun!

    That sounds like a great idea! I love Niagra Falls, we went to the NY side a few years ago and it was so much fun! Everyone said Canadian side is so much better. Have fun!!

    We are renovating the bathroom and refinancing the house... so no babymoon here. But I have heard that the Canadian side is the best for Niagara!

    We weren't going to do anything because we were saving everything for the baby but people just keep giving us stuff so heck why not?! Mise well do something one last time for the 2 of us!

    How fun, I've always wanted to go there. We decided to do Mexico (cancun or cabo) since it's not a long trip, think we are shooting for early May. Babymoons are the best way to enjoy being together sans kid for a bit!

    I wish we could take a baby moon but with work schedules it probably won't be possible. I live about 30 min from Niagara Falls (the canadian side). Canadian side really is better. It's something that everybody should see at least once.

    We took a babymoon with DD to a spa and it was amazing! Niagara isn't too far from us..that may be a great idea! Otherwise we are saving $$ hoping I can SAH

    We're going to the east coast of Florida with some friends for about 5 days. I'm super excited about this trip! Plus, all it will cost us is gas and groceries because our friends own the condo. I can't wait!!

    That sounds fun! I'm kinds jealous lol we're going to Kansas in may for a wedding and we'll have to drive :neutral_face: from NJ. Should be a fun 20 hour car ride for my husband :)

    Niagra is fun (and I went as a kid so not too far off from being pregnant)! We went to Prague, Munich, and London in December (booked before we found out we were pregnant). We're hoping we can do a small trip before baby is born somewhere we can enjoy being foodies while being close to the beach.

    Wow! I just told DH we should go there for our babymoon. We are in Detroit so if we drive through Canada I think it's only about a 5,6 hour drive. I've never been, so thanks for the idea! I think Groupon always has deals for both US and Canadian sides.

    We're going to Florida beginning of February. Going with my DH, 6 month old baby, 14 year old sister, and my mom...not gonna be very romantic I'm afraid...

    We plan on going to the Dominican Republic in early March but are yet to book our flights....soooo.... Hopefully this still works out. I am excited to lounge on the warm beach with my hubby.

    We are in Indiana so absolutely nothing fun here haha its about a 7 hour drive to new york... with a 6 month pregnant lady. Oh do I feel bad for my husband! Lol I'm so happy to see everyone's great plans hopefully everything works out! We just applied for our passports ah it's getting realm this has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl!

    How exciting! My husband and I love to travel so we are kinda going all out with a big trip in March.
    Some of my friends have mentioned going on trips afterward and how I would feel leaving the baby behind.. But honestly I cried today leaving my dogs for a week long trip. Lol. Odds are probably pretty low I am going anywhere anytime soon after baby comes! :)

    We live in NY and are planning on going to FL in April when DH has spring break. My dad bought a condo in St. Petersburg, where I lived for 5 years before moving back to NY and is letting us stay there for free. I miss it so much so we try to visit every couple of years. The airfare is ridiculous so we haven't booked it yet but it's in the plans.

    When I was pregnant with DD, we went to Mexico-it was awesome! I was marginally sad not to be able to participate in the swim up bars though :(
    Nothing as exotic this time...we are taking DD on a "last only-child trip" to Disney World next month. Can't wait!!
    First came love, then came marriage - Oct 31, 09
    Then came a miscarriage March '11
    Then came a baby in the baby carriage May 16, 12

    Waiting on our second little peanut!

    That sounds fun! I've never been there before, but I would like to!. We're hoping to find a beach to stay at in Florida. I want a beach but flights are SO expensive!

    I have been to Niagara so many times (from Canada) But it never gets old! I love it in the summer. So beautiful. And there are so many people walking around! you must visit Clifton Hill!

    We will make sure we check that out. We are staying at the tower hotel in ON the view is FANTASTIC. Only staying for 2 days tho. Can't take to much off work since I'll be off for 8 weeks when baby comes. Wish we could go to FL where it's warm lol
