What in the actual eff?

So this morning I was on The Bump on my phone and it crashed. It said "unfortunately, pregnancy has ended". Maybe I'm just being a little sensitive but I feel that that is not an appropriate thing to pop up when your pregnancy app on your phone crashes? Jeeeessusssss.
P.s. I clearly know that that does not mean my pregnancy has ended (duh), I just feel like that is a really insensitive and stupid thing to have come up.

I read someone's post about that on BumpMay's wall (before the... Other stuff... Got there) and BumpMay said, "You shouldn't be getting that error," or something of the like.

So I'm pretty sure you didn't get that error.

Joking. Yeah, I'm sorry... That's a really crappy thing for it to say. Maybe bring it up to BumpMay again? Put something else on her plate? Heh heh heh.

The bump is an asshole that lacks basic social skills. Let's try to remember that we are dealing with people who cannot run a website, something that can be done by a teenager out of their bedroom. I'm not surprised.

I was checking out Bump May's wall last night to see some of the interesting posts there and saw several about this notification. Apparently it was resolved with a software update but what in the actual hell were they thinking with that notification? Sorry you were on the receiving end of such a rude message.

Bahahaha. You guys make me laugh. I'll bring it up to BumpMay but I know she'll probably ignore it like everything else because she seems to be too busy being a c u next tuesday to care. Not a big deal-and def bigger things happening here, it was just the first time I had it crash and got that response and was a little confused why that would seem appropriate to put. Since it seems like it's already been mentioned, maybe she can point me to where it has been and allegedly violate TOU herself.

@asutherl no worries! I just took a gander at bumpmay's wall and realized it had been mentioned a few times. It seems like it has been happening recently, and she says it's from an older version of The Bump, but it appears I have the newest version. Whatever-just another reason this is a shit show. Also, it looks like she has been deleting things off her wall (if that is possible)-it seems pretty mild.

Mine used to say "Unfortunately, Pregnancy has stopped." but now it says "The Bump has encountered an error". It also says this EVERY. TIME. I open it.

But yeah... when it used to say "pregnancy has stopped" I was like, what the f*ck, that is so wrong to say!

This exactly. When I got the "pregnancy has stopped" I just stared at the screen in shock and confusion for a full minute. Wtaf? And now I'm getting the other error every. Damn. Time. I open the app.

I get it. In fact, on my phone's desktop, under The Bump's icon, it just says, "Pregnancy". Which I'm pretty sure is the root cause of the wording of the error message.

Oh, I'm 100% sure that is the reason... I'm not questioning that. I'm just... curious that their IT developers didn't choose their wording more carefully!

I'm going to go with either, they're men who just don't see the fallacy behind their actions, or they're just just insensitive assholes (male or female) who couldn't be bothered to foresee the consequences of such a generic label.

Oh, or someone could have been an immature asshole and thought it would be funny, there's always that possibility. Hmm...... what else can I come up with.... (obviously my job doesn't tax enough of my brain power....)

I've seen that a few times and I'm pretty sure my jaw hit the floor! I love how bump may has only responded to the newbie posts on her wall and not the regulars that have been wronged in so many ways. She's ignoring the problem which is most likely going to create an even larger problem.

I uninstalled it and re-installed and haven't gotten it again. I was told it should have only happened with an older version of the bump (which still isn't cool) but the one I uninstalled and re-installed was the same version. Whatevs. It almost made me bring out my bitch nachos today.

Wow, I heard about this issue months ago. I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed yet. :-O There must be more important things to fix around here first... Like making sure no one hurts a SS's feelings.
