Nanny, Nanny share, or in house day care Fox Valley area

Hi all

DH and I are starting the hunt early for a nanny, nanny share or in house day care in the Fox Valley / Warrenville area.  We only need day care 3 days per week.  Kindercare's are too expensive :( 

Suggestions welcome!!!

Me: 31 tubal disease
Married 2011
TTC 2012
Clomid x 2 with OBGYN: BFN
IF testing 2013: blocked left tube, low AMH
March 2014: Ectopic rupture, emergency surgery and D&C.  Absent left tube and now closed right tube
October 2014: IVF with ICSI #1 - BFP (17r/14icsi/12f - 2ET 10/27; 7 frosties; Nov7 beta #1= 806; Nov10 beta #2= 2738; TWINS!!!!!  EDD late June/early July 2015)

    Have you found pricing for daycare? The only pricing I have found comes in WAY under nanny costs I have found, which makes me super skeptical!

    Daycare (in North Aurora where my office is moving to): $245 a week
    In home care (recommended lady): $750 a week

    That's for full time, full week. I am hoping I will be able to work from home some days so that I can knock that down to 2-3 days of daycare needed!

    I have pricing for the Kindercare in St. Charles, Batavia, Naperville (Rt 59) and Wheaton.  All are too expensive for two infants 3 days per week.  :(

    Wheaton: $473.10

    Batavia: $410.40

    If you can afford it I highly recommend an in home nanny. That's the route we went and I couldn't be happier!

    almost-a-bride  - how did you go about finding a home nanny?  I know about care.com and will start looking into that (overwhelmed though!).  Any other suggestions?
