I'm humiliated and honestly a little worried. I have IBD and had a flare this afternoon while DH was still at work. DS was crying like crazy and needed to eat so I had to nurse him while I was on the toilet. Disgusting, I feel like the worst mom ever but I literally could not, not. Please tell me it will all be okay. Or is this one of those secret things BF moms do sometimes but don't talk about?

I've done it probably 4 or 5 times since my LO has been born.. I could have either laid him down and listened to him scream or hold him and nurse (they've all been in the MOTN, and I didn't want to wake the whole house up). It'll be okay!!

I almost had to do this today! In the middle of nursing suddenly I knew I had to get to the bathroom FAST. I was all set to bring him with me, but when I put him down for a second he seemed content so I left him. But I'm SURE there will be a time where I'll need to keep him with me, and it will be OK!

You're a good mom for taking care of your baby, however it has to happen!

DS and I got terrible diarrhea on the same day. I definitely nursed him while sitting on the can.

I've done it too! I don't bf so I wrap A to me and go if she's super fussy. Solves that problem

Don't be embarrassed! When I do it I just consider myself and awesome multitasker. It's also something you can say to your husband to make him feel bad for you. "I can't even poop alone!"
