Happy Wednesday ladies!!!

QOTW: What are your thoughts on young children and phones? Yay or nay?

We had a food prep day at my MIL's yesterday. Me, my bestie and MIL made 13 meals per family (which will likely feed 6-8 people per meal) We put them all in GIANT ziploc bags and froze them. They are designed for the crock pot so it was really easy. Hannah insisted on helping. She actually did a good job peeling carrots, so proud of her!

QOTW: I don't think young children should own phones, seems silly to me. I also don't think a child should be able to play with a phone whenever they want. BUT I have found my smart phone to be a lifesaver, like for example I had a doctors appointment yesterday. I put my photo gallery up, and Hannah sat in the chair scrolling through the pictures for like 15 minutes while I had my appointment. My mother lets Hannah play with her phone all the time and it's like that's the only thing Hannah wants when she sees her. I dunno, I guess limited exposure would be my answer.

Qotw: I do not let him have my phone much unless we are out but he does have an i.pad. It is a great learning tool and his vocabulary has exploded from playing one of the letters games and not small words but big ones. Technology is going to be a huge part of their life.

Here is DS playing with his lab set he got from auntie for Christmas! He absolutely loves it.
Here is DD at 6 months, sitting up on her own for the first time.

QOTD: I don't think kids should have phones but I think it's definitely ok for them to use them on occasion. More often than not DS uses our iPad for learning games and not our phones though

QOTD: How young are we talking? I was 16 years old when I first got a cell phone. It was obviously before smart phones and it was prepaid. We will have to wait and see when we feel the appropriate time to get a phone is. I'm thinking maybe 13?? To get a basic phone...idk?

Here she is at 2.5 weeks old!!
