  • How many weeks are you? 19 weeks today. Ahhh so excited to reach the halfway mark.

How are you feeling/movements/anything exciting happen/appointments?  I'm feeling so happy and content. NO movements though because of Anterior Placenta. Trying my best to be patient because I know the time will come and it will be amazing. My AS is not til 27th which is a little closer to 21 weeks but I have a work trip scheduled next week.

QOTW: How has family, friends and co-workers been treating you? My family loves to tease me about my symptom free pregnancy (sorry ladies) and how I'll sneeze at labour time and the baby will just pop out on a pain scale of 2. I egg them on and say how I'll probably have my hair and makeup done right before I head into L&D so I'm ready for photos. Friends have been lovely and co-workers even better. Seeing a soft side of all my male colleagues and the ladies just can't stop talking babies even though I'm not even bringing up the topic!

  • How many weeks are you?
18 weeks! Almost halfway and I can't believe it.

How are you feeling/movements/anything exciting happen/appointments?
I'm finally starting to feel like my old self again. Getting a little more energy back and able to get on the treadmill again. I have an anterior placenta too so no specific movements yet but I do get this heavy pressure/pushing feeling where baby should be sometimes, especially when I lay down at night.

QOTW: How has family, friends and co-workers been treating you?
Family, friends and coworkers are great so far. I'm enjoying getting back in touch with some friends that we grew away from when they all started having kids before us years ago. Still on the outs with the inlaws, they're just too nosey for me and think they should be included in everything instead of letting me and DH have this experience.

  • 20 weeks Wednesday!!!
I can't believe I've reached the halfway point!!! Ahhhh!!! So excited!

Headaches have been more tolerable and not as frequent so that's a huge relief. Been dealing with RLP and just a heavy feeling/pressure in general in my lower abdomen. Have categorized them as growing pains!
Been feeling baby move more frequently now. Still pretty faint but def getting stronger as time goes by.

Everyone has been treating me wonderfully this whole pregnancy!! I get at least a couple texts from a family member or friend asking how it's going! It's nice to know we have so much support!! In laws could be a little more excited. This is their 6th grandchild but it's the first from us so I still thought they'd be a bit more enthusiastic about it. Eh! My parents are over the moon (their 1st grandbaby) so that's enough for me!! :)
  • 17 weeks tomorrow!

I have been feeling well! No movement yet (add me to the anterior placenta club). Anatomy scan is on the 28th.

Everyone has been really excited! My H was always told he

  • How many weeks are you? 20 weeks!

How are you feeling/movements/anything exciting happen/appointments? I'm feeling good.  Movement a lot, which is already making it difficult to get comfortable.  Had my A/S on Thursday and it went really well.  I wasn't expecting to get results right away, but the tech had to go check with the doctor about extra imaging because she's pretty positive the "fibroid" they found in 2011 was actually my ovary, so the doctor reviewed the scans then and there and gave me the all clear!  And this kid is way more cooperative than my first, rolling over so we could get all the spine info needed.

QOTW: How has family, friends and co-workers been treating you?  Pretty much the same.  But I don't really make a big deal out of it/talk about it.

  • I am 20 weeks so half way done if lo comes on time.
I am feeling movement constantly. It's very avtive. Went to the dr last week and the baby actually kicked her. I am just feeling normal growing pains especially in my uterus.
My friends have been amazing! One of my good friends made me a pregnancy
Basket with healthy snacks in it. My family has been nice too. I am the youngest and only girl, and giving my parents their 1st grandchild. So, I know
They will go a little overboard. My one brother who has been a jerk my whole life actually has been checking on me and looked at u/s pics with me.

How many weeks are you? 20 weeks on Tuesday!- WOW HALF-WAY!!!!

How are you feeling/movements/anything exciting happen/appointments? I am feeling ok.  Just really tired all the time still.  I can do more things than I did in the first trimester so that is good.  I've been feeling our Lil D since right before 17 weeks.  Sometimes it is little flutters all day and sometimes just one or two.  I have another ultrasound and appointment next Thursday.  We are team green which is so hard with more than one ultrasound.  The whole thing is so exciting to me.  I can't believe our baby is coming.  I've been waiting for this since I got my first cabbage patch at age 4.

QOTW: How has family, friends and co-workers been treating you?  My parents and family have been great.  They are just so supportive.  My in-laws are very challenging people all the time and this is no different.  My friends are amazing and so helpful.  Co-workers all just want to talk about the exciting happenings of me having my first baby.  It's so sweet.
  • This shit is BANANAS, B-A-N-A-N-A-S!! Baby girl is size of a banana today, 20 weeks. I also hit 10 lbs up on the scale today... Eek!

Feeling pretty good. Have felt some movement, and felt first movement from the outside a couple of days ago. It was wild!

People are treating me pretty much the same. DH has done some nice surprises for me, but it's pretty much business as usual. My mom is super excited, so we talk about the pregnancy a lot.

  • 19 weeks today.
Mango baby. Now that our kids know every time we go to the store I'm required to show them the fruit/vegetable of the week. They really love it.

I also hit 10 lbs on the scales. It goes up so much quicker the more kids you have it seems...

Starting to feel baby and got my first real kick.
Anatomy scan/ doctor appointment a week from today. Excited to know what's going on with placenta, baby ok, and boy/girl since we haven't had any tests yet.

I've been sick with a cold/cough for 19 days now and feel quite miserable. My DH is working nights this whole month so it's been awful. Went to the urgent care yesterday for the cold since I'm at my wits end and the OB office didn't want anything to do with my cold, but I got some medicine, but it's not helping a whole lot yet...

I'm so tired of being sick.

And since this is baby #4, my family could care less about this baby except my mom thank goodness. We sent out New Years announcements to announce to our family and not one person called or texted or congratulated in any way... It reminds me of a scrubs episode where they announce they are having their second kid and no one cares... Lol

How many weeks are you? (I really dislike the fruit/veggie comparison but go ahead if you like it! ) 20 weeks as of yesterday.

How are you feeling/movements/anything exciting happen/appointments? Some movement since week 18. Had the A/S yesterday-everything looks good. I have to get another ultrasound at my 24-week appt since the tech couldn't get the last two of the four pics of the heart, but everything looks good otherwise.

QOTW: How has family, friends and co-workers been treating you? Everyone's been treating me fine and how they usually did in the past, thankfully. I don't want special treatment since I'm pregnant, and I've had few issues. Everyone's been super excited for  DH and I though, so that's good!

ETA: We found out it's a girl, too!

  • How many weeks are you? HALF BAKED BABY! 20 weeks, size of a banana!

How are you feeling/movements/anything exciting happen/appointments?

Feeling TONS of movement, I can also feel baby move from the outside at times. I am feeling pretty good, have all my energy back! I can finally stay up past 10 pm!! Woot, woot! So excited about being half way through this pregnancy! It's amazing/overwhelming that this baby will be here in 20 weeks or less (never carried past 38 weeks). Have so much left to do still, in so little time!! Ahh but I'm so excited!!

QOTW: How has family, friends, and co-workers been treating you?

Family and friends love to tease me about how big my belly as gotten already. My boyfriend especially likes to point out how cute I look being pregnant. Everyone is getting so excited about our son's arrival! I have been on bed rest pretty much throughout this pregnancy because of some bleeding I had at the beginning, but now I have the OKAY to get my booty back into work! Such a relief cause we need the money. So we shall see what my co-workers have to say about my basketball belly!

  • 19 weeks today!

Feeling occasional movement. Not every day but when I do it's pretty noticeable. 20 week appt and A/S (Team Green) on Monday! Eek! Constant pelvic pain, but hasn't gotten as bad as last pregnancy yet, however, it started to come on earlier than last pregnancy so I'm sure it's going to get worse.

Everyone treats me the same.  Heck I'm a SAHM to an 18 month old so most of the time I'm around someone who certainly won't treat me different haha.

    17 weeks bay-beh!

Feeling okay 75% of the time, then I get random bouts of nausea. Sleeping is becoming extremely difficult since I can't seem to find a comfortable position (even with a body pillow). I don't even want to imagine the struggle when I have a legit belly! Also, I got knocked down a few pegs when I told 2 co-workers I hadn't seen in awhile that I was expecting and they looked 100% shocked and then looked down at my belly in confusion. One even said, you just look like you could've eaten a bunch at the holidays. I'm so tired of explaining it down like, "Oh, yeah, I'm 5'9'', so baby has a lot of room in there..."

Edited to add: No movement here and I'm starting to get antsy

Family is good. I haven't seen them in a couple weeks, but my mom is so sweet and texts me every Wednesday to say Happy __ Weeks! I love her!

Missed this yesterday but I'll jump in today!

17 weeks (well, plus 1 day)

Feeling pretty good. Still tired though. I've pretty much resigned to the fact that I probably will be for a while. Sometimes I think I feel flutters. Asked my midwife about this at my appointment on Monday and she said it's definitely possible being that I know what it feels like from before. Still excited to feel definite kicks though!

My friends and family are excited. My mom doesn't seem super thrilled/doesn't ask me about it a lot which kinda bugs me. However, she has a lot going on with my grandma suffering from dementia and trying to find her a place to live. I started the 2nd half of my grad internship yesterday and I had the class that accompanies it yesterday evening. I told all my classmates whom I've gotten to know pretty well over the last year or so and they were all really excited which was awesome.

    ETA info.

  • 16w Tuesday! Feelin' pretty excited about that. For some reason 16 weeks feels like a big deal.

Feeling pretty good. My HG seems to be fading which is fantastic, and I'm getting a little more energy (though not today) and feeling like a human again! I think it's helping psychologically that I have a bit of a bump now, too. Before I didn't feel pregnant but was dealing with a lot of negative symptoms and I couldn't really focus on the payoff as much as I'd have like to!

Family/friends have been good, I guess. We haven't really talked much lately. None of them are local though. MIL was very excited at Christmas which was sweet but also annoying because she was kind of making everything about her. But that's the last we've really talked. :) My fam just asks how I'm feeling occasionally.
  • How many weeks are you?
19 weeks! So happy to be so close to the half way mark.

How are you feeling/movements/anything exciting happen/appointments?
A lot of moving going on in there! It's so fun! Next week are all of our fun appointments we have our 20 week ultrasound and see our midwife.

QOTW: How has family, friends and co-workers been treating you?
Co-workers have been great! I'm finally showing so people are way more willing to help with lifting heavy patients so Im not running around like crazy (as much)during my 12 hour shifts. Family has been good, it's getting real for my hubby, he felt the baby kick this last week. And my mom finally realized how inappropriate it is to be saying things like, "are you sure you want to have a not her baby?", "have you really thought about this decision?", and "of course we will love it but, I don't know what you were thinking with having a third child." So hopefully I never have to hear that come out of her mouth again!
  • @Sugarbean17  - Oh dear regarding your mum. My mum has potential to say those things but she's learnt to hold back a bit now.

Sorry to hear about your grandma having dementia. Hopefully your mum finds a balance to enjoy life and can be there for you.

  • 17 Weeks today!

Feeling great.  No movements yet, looking forward to them though.  Next appointment, anatomy scan, on the 27th.

Enjoying discovering the fact that pregnant women are treated better first hand.  Family and co-workers have been great; friends though, mixed reactions.
  • Carolingrace I LOVE you! Seriously that just made my night! We love Jim Gaffigan at our house and I totally forgot about that! I will sleep better tonight. :)
