Any tips/ideas on how you plan to organize your nursery items (clothes, diapers, other products) ? I'm very OCD but before I start i wanted to see if anyone had any good ideas I can steal.
While I had the space, I kept all of DD's currently fitting clothes in one drawer and all the too big stuff in another drawer. That way I wasn't trying to find something that fit.
It really depends on your nursery storage situation.
I like canvas bins. We cloth diaper, so those go in the top dresser drawer - but all other diapering supplies are in a portable canvas bin (12 x 12) that sits on top of the dresser next to the changing pad.
Onesies have their own drawer, as do pants, same with bibs/burp clothes. Everything else hangs in the closet.
A sidenote: I'm extremely organized OCD and mess in my house literally makes me anxious and twitchy. Since having a child, I REALLY needed to curb some of my urge to constantly clean up and re-organize everything nice and neat like. Staying organized with a toddler in the house gets hard.
I don't have a nursery (our house is too small) so baby is going to sleep on the landing at the top of the stairs (baby proofed, of course) once he is too big for his bassinet. So, I have to be extra obsessed with organization (and especially space saving organization).
I've been searching Pinterest and apartment therapy and other places for ideas.
So far, my biggest win has been to make use of under the bed storage containers. I've organized all of his blankets, bedding, and clothes into these according to age (when applicable) and they now all live under the guest bed and our bed.
IKEA has some great stuff that I plan to use for storing clean cloth diapering stuff. I haven't decided which yet, but I'm thinking of using either their hanging diaper stacker, or their shoe cabinet, or just a regular cheap plastic behind- the-door shoe organizer for cloth diapers.
I'll be following this thread as I am the opposite of both a good housekeeper and naturally organized person.
The change table - bins have the current clothes. The diapers will be in the top drawer but DD keeps pulling them out. There is also a caddy for downstairs.
Closet - sorted by type and stacked by size (up to 6 months). New things are hanging up so they don't get lost in the shuffle.

I'm surprised the clothes will stay so neatly folded and stacked on their side in your closet.
Clothes stacked like that would become my personal nightmare. It would drive me crazy to look for what I wanted in there and to put it away and stuff. But what works for some drives others batty!
I second IKEA's organizers. We got the long hemnes dresser and it will double as a changing table. We don't have a closet for the little guy so everything has to go in the dresser. We washed and sorted all newborn to 9 month clothes and put them away, grouping sizes together. All larger sizes got washed and placed in plastic storage bins. I will just swap out as necessary. I was super overwhelmed at first too but going to Ikea and just buying organizers helped so much. I kept the receipts in case I needed to return any of it. Not sure if that helps. We are in a one bedroom sharing a room with baby till he's about 4 months, so space is limited.
so far Ive just pulled out Nb and 0-3, the rest is in bins and organized by size. This way I am not overwhelmed. I have a pack n play downstairs with a diaper caddy for convenience.
With our toddler, every month I dedicate a couple of hours to moving old clothes out and new clothes in. This way I am using everything and donating small stuff as to avoid clutter.
