How often is everyone feeding now?

My lo has started to fall asleep for the night around 8, and we're very slowly starting to push his 10pm feeding back so that he can really sleep through the night. We also just started feeding him 6 oz per bottle (bm and formula), so I'm thinking I'll have to start maybe feeding less oz more frequently, since 6 oz every 3 to 4 hrs probably isn't good for their little tummies, right? Is anyone else going through this? TIA!

6 oz every 3-4 hrs sounds normal to me, especially if you're FF. Eating more frequently is more of a newborn thing because of their tiny tummies.I think as long as your LO is getting the required amount of ounces for the day when and how much per bottle is irrelevant. Watch for hunger cues, obviously, and let your LO be your guide.

FWIW, I exclusively pump and give DD 6-7 bottles a day, 4 oz per bottle (all BM). She eats on demand (usually 2-4 hrs apart).

Mine is currently in her first week of daycare. I feed her MOTN myself and right before going to daycare. Then at daycare she has been doing 3 6oz bottles and maybe a 4th depending on how late I am. If she has the 4th bottle I feed her at bedtime, if not, I will do breastfeeding at home and one more time at bedtime. I wish was wasn't drinking that much at daycare bc it makes it hard for me to pump enough but it's really up to her when she is hungry and how much wants to eat.

I nurse her at 7am she then takes 3 6oz bottles at daycare and we do one last feed at 730. So 5 times and I think she gets about 28-30 oz of breastmilk - I know this is on the high side but it's how she rolls and its not easy to keep up with pumping. She rarely spits up and her little bit of reflux is gone.

E gets 3-4 4oz bottles while I'm at work, I nurse twice before bed, then once or twice during the night. So 6-8 times a day. During the day I think her bottles are 2-3 hours in between, same when I'm with her on weekends.

I usually pump 3-4 oz/boob... so I think she's getting 24- 36oz a day (sometimes her night feedings are 2 boobs sessions).

L is eating 4 6oz. Bottles and last one at bedtime is 5. So 29oz. He weighs about 14.5 pounds so I don't think that's on the high side fwiw @HorseLover11‌. I have a guideline that says about 2oz./lb at this age if FF. He STTN so he eats about every 3 hours. Down 7:30 ish up 6:30 ish.

We're going on average about 6 feeds a day. We follow a 6oz 4oz 6oz 4oz 4oz 6oz pattern and so far that really works for us. We finally figured out that she was over eating sometimes and finishing the bottle just to suck, so we give her a 6 in the morning, then a 6 in the afternoon for a solid nap, and then a 6 before bed.. but all the inbetweens are 4s. Sometimes we'll swap around that second six and the double fours if we need her to nap a little later. We are eating just about every 3 during the day like clockwork still, with an occasional longer stretch if she is napping or just not showing any hunger cues at all... but we are also uninterrupted STTN most nights so she is consuming ALL the calories during "normal waking hours."

My son nurses 7 times a day. I didn't plan it that way I just noticed it in the baby connect app. Not sure how much he gets since I never pump. He eats about every 2.5-3 hours. Eats for the last time of the day at 9ish then sleeps until 3am and eats.

We do 6 oz every 2-3 hrs and pedi says that's fine (all BM, some pumped). When he nurses, who knows how much he gets. His bedtime is 8pm and he eats 0-2 times a night. Most nights he feeds around 4am and wakes at 7:30 am... But I am sure this will change since we started solids earlier this week.

I feel like mine is eating so much less now but he still manages to have at least 6 wet diapers a day. He will drink 3-4 oz in a bottle while I'm at work, once or twice, and nurse the other time. He goes about 3-4 hrs between feedings.

My LO is still eating quite a few times a day...probably 8-11. I've started noticing though that a few of the feedings are on the smaller side (not "finishing" a breast) so I'll probably start to target those for elimination. Especially the ones in the middle of the night!
