Last Few weeks of Pregnancy

Was there anything you ladies who have already had your babies found to relieve the pain of your growing stomach? I have three weeks left and it is unbearable at this point- nothing seems to help. It is rock hard all the time and just really painful.

The last few weeks of pregnancy was awful- sorry you're there now! I was in bed rest and made sure I had my "belly pillow" with me. It was just a cushion I kept between my belly and the couch/bed while laying on my side. I couldn't lay on my back and I was uncomfortable 100% of the time!

Ugh. I feel your pain, mama. Those last couple of weeks (months) were SO SO hard. I pretty much had to lie down all the time and prop a pillow under my belly (and between my legs and behind my back). I accepted as much help as possible and tried to have someone come over to play with my kids several times a week. I started hiring a friend to help with some light housework.

To give you some hope, I felt AMAZING after having my twins, not because the newborn/postpartum phase is a piece of cake, but because your body just feels SO different to not have two people in it anymore. You can do this!!

ETA- oh and drink tons of water. As much as you can. It helps if you are feeling contractions.

I have two weeks left (max) and I'm in the same boat. It isn't that certain things make me uncomfortable, it is every second of the day and night. Having 13 pounds if baby inside is really tough. I think I'll spend most of the next two weeks in the recliner or in the bed.

I am so glad you posted this! I was coming here to look to see if there were any posts similar. My stomach is rock hard. I am totally swollen "down there." Heartburn is killing me.

I will. The heartburn has been hit and miss this last week. Some nights I wake up almost choking cause of it and then other nights I sleep right through without issues! Every time I go to the store though, I forget what I can have! Lol

I took a bath like every morning and every night to relieve the tightness of my Braxton hicks. Also just took it easy with my feet up!

With 3 weeks left myself, the only place I am 100% comfy is in the pool. Belly softens, baby boys fall asleep, I feel weightless. It's all gravy till I have to climb the stairs to get out and I feel like an astronaut returning to the gravity of Earth
