I figured we could have a thread where we can compare symptoms/ultrasounds/etc. I've been told things are different with a twin pregnancy, so I'm hoping to see what other women are experiencing.

How far along are you?
What are your symptoms so far?

@BrazilianPeach‌ I am so excited for you! I am 7wk 2days. I am also tired. Sore boobs of course. I've had a little nausea but nothing too bad. Have you had the nausea?

I agree on the hunger part. I was telling my husband this morning it's literally every 2 hours. And that's when I do have the mild nausea. It feels like I haven't had anything to eat in days.

I've also had some spotting, which completely freaks me out since I've had 3 miscarriages and spotting each time.

You did spot though? Did they say why? Mine was at 6wk1day and 6wk4days. It was awful. The first time wasn't much at all and went away quickly. It was a pink/light red though. Second time was same but it turned to brown and lasted for 2 days. They think it was from the ultrasound. She also saw a sac of fluid in my uterus and thinks it couldn't been from that as well. Regardless, it scares me!

Oh my! I'm sure you were terrified!! I am glad it has stopped. That's so scary. My dr doesn't seem to be too concerned either. Of course I'm still worries. We have an appointment tomorrow and hopefully we will see our babies doing well!

I'm going to ask tomorrow for a BPM count. It seems like so many women have that information and I don't.

llittle7 BrazilianPeach, I am 6W4Ds with twins. I found out last week at 5 weeks, but saw the heartbeat and today. Baby A is measuring 6w3d, and Baby B is measuring 6W2.

I am always hungry. I just had breakfast at 12 and I am starving again, like I haven't ate since last night. I do have some nausea, but it goes away after I eat a candy cane. If I feel nauseous and go to the bathroom it all comes out.

I also have really bad back pain, and it is hard to fall asleep, I did develop Mild OHSS, but it is getting better.

I did spot at 5 weeks but it was red and then brown. Now I just have brown discharge and sometimes light pink, but I try not to worry about that. With my DD I had heavy period like bleeding with clots and cramps, and now she is 4.5 years old.

@fjamil1‌ congrats! I am so glad to know that the spotting is normal. I heard it's even more common in multiple pregnancies.

The hunger thing is insane to me because every 2 hours I am starving. To where it makes me nauseas! That's the only time I do get nauseas though.

Glad we can all go through this together and help each other! Yay for twins!

I feel fine. Just the normal tiredness. I've had cramping off and on since the beginning. And random sharp pains that last half a second. Of course the bleeding and cramping totally freaked me out. Have you had any cramping?

I just saw you post on the Multiples board, I am so sorry you are going through this. T&P for baby B. I don't have much cramping but my lower back hurts really bad.

I'm crossing my fingers that your Baby B is snuggled in tight and continues to grow. I'll be watching for updates. When do you go back?

I am 7w 0 days. Luckily no spotting or bleeding. I was completly blind sided about the twins but now I'm excited! I am hungry every 2 hours as well and that's the only time I get nausous. At the point, I feel like I could eat a cow but take two bites and I'm full! Definatly more tired then usual and the sore boobs are getting a little better!

@fjamil1‌ @lc&jw thank you both so much. They want to see me back Monday. I'm not expecting good news. I've had 3 miscarriages already with twins being one of them. I just had hope that since this was a medicated cycle, it would all work out.

Hi everyone...I just found out we're expecting twins! I'm 5w3d today and we had our first ultrasound Monday, where they saw the gestational sac and yolk sac. Next appt is on the 5th a day hopefully we'll hear heartbeats. No symptoms really..just sore nips, bad indigestion, and occasional nausea. I'm noticing the hunger though!

8 wks and some change measured at 7.4 on Tues. Doc said call it 8 since they could just be small. TOTALLY BLINDSIDED!! LOL
Nausea is god awful however yesterday and today have been toloerable. Energy plummets without notice. Always hungry not nothing tastes, smells good.
Sore boobs. Pretty sure my hips are fused in place at this moment but I'm also laying on the floor at the in laws. Getting up may not happen without a crane...

Hi everyone. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow. I had a miscarriage with twins in August and we found out last Friday we're having twins again and they both had heartbeats. ;-). My nausea hit hard at 6 weeks. Morning and night i was throwing up. I got prescribed some meds to help. I'm hungry as soon as i get up and if i wait too long to eat I'm nauseous. So every 2 hrs I'm making sure to bite on something. Lately my exhaustion has been worse and the sore boobs has decreased just feel heavy. I only had light pink blood when i wiped a few days after having sex and it went away. I was worried but the nurse assured if its not bleeding through a pad or cramping i should be fine. Some days I'm just really damp. Does anyone else have that?

Hi everyone, I'm 9w2d having twins. I am very happy to have found this forum, and we can share stories. I feel tired but not exhausted, I do feel naseau from time to time, dizziness, my boobs are not super tender, but they are sore.. I feel bloated and I think I'm starting to show even though I'm just 9wk.. I heard their heart beats at 7wks twin A was 125, twin B 124. I don't feel cramps often but when I do I freak out. I have been constipated lately, n had to switch to gummie vitamins because the pills were making me sick. I get hungry n the minute I start to eat after a few bites I feel full. I am terrified of MC since I read these boards a lot and seems to be a big topic on the boards. It breaks my heart to see some of the ladi s have to go through such loss. I am glad we can all share our experiences, since I personally am not close to anyone who has had twins.. I'm glad I'm not alone in this! Hugs & prayers to all of you...

Hi ladies! I am so glad to have found this thread. I am a first time mom with my twins due 8/27. We saw their heartbeats at 6w1d, 120 bpm and 115 bpm

We have one more ultrasound on Friday (7w1d) and then I will be released from my RE to my OB.
I was recently put on diclegis to help with my constant nausea. For me, this is a miracle drug. I actually feel somewhat normal again. I still go from starving to full within 2 bites of a meal, but I'll take it (from lurking on the boards this seems fairly common).

Hi everyone we just got the news yesterday TWINS at 7w1day!! Both have strong heartbeats and are measuring right on schedule. FTM so kind of freaking out

Been extra hungry and tired but fatigue has been much better the last few days. I even did yoga last night.

We have a follow up ultrasound in two weeks with RE then go to see a regular OB.

Twins Mama here. Found out Monday at 9 weeks 3 days. I have terrible all day sickness, throw up almost everyday, & have a horrible time trying to eat. Zofran Makes it worse before it gets better because of the taste. Losing weight but honestly i had weight to lose. Its like my first pregnancy but worse. Im literally counting down the days till the 1st trimester is over.

Hi Ladies! I am expecting twins as well, we have known since really early 4w5d as we did IVF and had high betas so RE brought us in for a check. Honestly its probably worse that we have known so long as every appointment I am terrified we will lose one. Have a real OB appointment today for the first time and another US and am so nervous.
Don't have much symptom wise, some queasiness if I don't eat regularly, breast tenderness and bloating and constipation, and generally tired.

I'm expecting twins as well, due 8/26! Also an IVF-er, and found out Monday at 6w5d. I have my first OB appt next wk at 8 wks. I can't wait to see the heartbeats again! :x

My symptoms come and go- occ nausea but ginger is my BFF and takes care of it. Otherwise I'm hungry. All.the.time. And I'm ridiculously tired.

SO glad is found this thread! Found out yesterday at 6w6d that we're having twins!! Completely blind sided since we weren't doing any fertility. Saw both heartbeats, 123 and 122 and measuring right on track! Have to go back next week because they said it was a little early to tell if there was a membrane separating them since they're in the same sac. Anyone else go through that? Symptoms are superrrr sore boobs, slight nausea, and ALAWAYS exhausted and hungry. Oh and we have a 3 year old daughter, so slightly freaking out how we'll handle this!! Due Aug. 28

Had an us at 6w5d and found out twins! Measuring on track and saw two beating heartbeats ❤️❤️. Going back in three weeks for another us. @obrienh I received same news from Dr about too soon to tell if they are in the same sac so we should find out at next appt when I'll be about 9ish weeks. Current 7w1d and have sore boobies, super hunger pains that never go away, major food aversions, super exhausted, and nausea but no vomiting yet. I also bled for a week which started during my 5th week. Completly freaked me out but it went away. Dr said I could see some more spotting bc he noticed a very tiny Subchorionic hemorrhage aka blood clot in us. Will keep an eye on it to make sure doesn't get larger and fingers crossed that it absorbs or disappears by 2nd tri.

I've just found out I'm expecting twins after IVF and an early ultrasound at 6weeks we only saw one but had an ultrasound at 10weeks and clearly saw two little ones with lovely strong heartbeats! I'm so excited to be a twin mamma xxx

Hi ladies! First time mom and found out the day after CHristmas we were having fraternal twins! Today I am 11w1d. We heard strong heart beats at 8w5d. We have our next u/s 1/23. Hoping everything is still healthy! I have been very sick since about week 6. When I am not sick, I am nauseous and exhausted. But hopefully only a few more weeks of feeling lack luster. It will all be worth it in the end!

I am 8 weeks 4 days with twins. We found out at 5 weeks, after being told for sure there was only one so that was a big shocker! I have been nauseous since week 4 almost 24/7, which makes it very hard for me to eat, my husband practically has to force me to eat sometimes... Other than that I'm just very tired all the time, but I can't tell if it's from the lack of caffeine( I was a caffeine nut at about 6 cups of coffee a day). Very sore breast, super smelling abilities that freak my coworkers out lol... Babies are identical and heartbeats are strong!

First time mom and just found out we are having twins. Very excited but this was very unexpected. Feel tired all the time.

Had first ultrasound at 9 weeks. Both are measuring at 9 weeks with heat rates of 161.

Found out we are havinv fraternal twins at out first appt at 8 wks. We were very shocked. I had a missed miscarriage in Oct and was just looking for a heartbeat. I didn't even realize that there were 2! Thisbis baby 3&4 for us. We are so blessed by these twins!

Hi Twin Mommies, I haven't been on board since the 4th. However, I wanted to jump on really quick and see how everyone is doing. I am now 12wks3dys. I will be going for my genetic ultrasound on the 3rd. I am excited to be having twins, although I must admit I am really scared. Everyone tells me it will be fine. Hope you are all doing great.

Hi ladies. We just found out this week that we are having twins. I'm a FTM and panicked at first but I'm over the moon happy. Two strong heartbeats due on 8/26. Congrats to all the others!!!
