Do you wash your crib bumper?

I'm specifically interested in how you wash your breathable mesh bumpers. You know...IF you do wash it.

It's been nearly 14 months and it just dawned on me now that maybe that thing should be washed...it's not like a pillow or blanket or anything, though. It's just a barrier. Anyway...inquiring minds want to know.

Re: Do you wash your crib bumper?

  • I voted yes, but only because Layla had a few poopsplosions and managed to get it on the bumper. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have. We just took it off a few weeks ago.

Ours was white, so I tossed that sucker in the washing machine with some bleach and detergent. I dried it as well, I didn't have any shrinkage issues.
