How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 16 weeks/avocado

How are you feeling? Good....tired....where's my 2nd tri energy?

Favorite moment of the week? Seeing DS playing with his cousins since they are going to the same babysitter for now.

Least favorite moment of the week? Having to pull DS out of his daycare provider and having to call the state child abuse and neglect hotline on her.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? About the same....not much change.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Good, just heard LO's heartbeat on the doppler lastnight.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? A/S on 2/3

If money was no object, what would you splurge on for yourself? The baby?

Myself-clothes. I never buy myself anything and would love to have a new wardrobe to spoil myself with.

The baby-Since a lot of what we had from DS was hand-me-down (which was great btw), I would love to splurge on some new baby gear. (I won't because everything we had given to us or bought from people was in great shape, but just the thought of new baby stuff makes me happy)

maddielynn321 It was tough, and we didn't feel good about it, but we would have felt worse if someone's child got hurt and we didn't say anything. Congrats on team pink!

mrskblack11 I feel so bad for your BFF and the ladies on our June board. Loss is never easy at any stage. ((((HUGS))))

@mrskblack11 I'm so sorry for your BFF's loss and I know it hits us AL ladies hard when others have losses.

I guess I go here now. My RE had my EDD as 8/15 but my OB wants to go by LMP which makes my EDD 8/11 and me 10 weeks today.

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 10 W. Prune

How are you feeling? OK, the usual 1st tri nausea and exhaustion

Favorite moment of the week? At my OB appt we heard the heartbeat on the Doppler. My OB was also really excited for me.

Least favorite moment of the week? I am working OOT and the travel day was hellish.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? About the same. The unisom keeps things tolerable but I'm still having nausea and occasional puking. Generally exhausted and lucky that this work assignment isn't very busy.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?

Meh, OK I guess. I ordered a doppler for home and can't wait to get it.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to?

NT scan is next on 1/29. It feels like forever away from now.

If money was no object, what would you splurge on for yourself?

For me, I was going to say more personal grooming stuff, mani-pedi's. more frequent hair appt, bikini waxes but someone commented on a car and since I will need a car anyway if this is our take home baby (my current car is a Miata) I would get a fully loaded brand new mazda 626.

The baby?

Honesty I haven't thought this far ahead yet. We have nothing right now so I would buy everything new instead of going yard sale crazy. (though hidden treasures are kind of fun).

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 16 week/avocado

How are you feeling? Eh, not fantastic. Just when I thought the nausea was improving it reared its head again and I felt crappy all weekend. I think it may have had something to do with the flu shot I got last Thursday.

Favorite moment of the week? Hearing that little heartbeat at my appt last week.

Least favorite moment of the week? Feeling like crap all weekend and not getting anything done.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? See above...I've felt baby rolling around in there a couple times and I'm so excited to start feeling more consistent movement.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Been good, I'm always nervous when the doc breaks out the Doppler. I hold my breath until she finds the heartbeat.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Anatomy scan is on the 28th. Even though we're not finding out the sex I'm still excited to see the babes for an extended amount of time.

If money was no object, what would you splurge on for yourself? The baby? A BOB revolution double jogger....I'm having a hell of a time finding a double stroller that I like and won't break the bank

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 11 Weeks

Favorite moment of the week? Gaining some of my energy back, and no longer feeling like I need to nap by noon.

Least favorite moment of the week? Not pregnancy related, but my aunt had a colonoscopy done last night and they found a tumor and a hand full of polyps. Dr did a biopsy and sent her today for blood work. Only news we have at the moment is that he's almost 90% positive the tumor is cancerous. As many T&Ps that can be spared would be appreciated.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Heartburn and only a few bouts of nausea.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Much better after my appointment this morning. Took the nurse a good five minutes to locate a heartbeat, but after she did the world began to rotate again.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? I've got my NT scan coming up and I'm really looking forward to seeing a more detailed picture of bean.

If money was no object, what would you splurge on for yourself? This time around I have actually been buying maternity clothes. If money wasn't a factor I would have a whole new wardrobe before and after. It's much needed!!! The baby? Since with this baby I really won't need a whole lot I would love to spend the extra money and get a new high chair. I've had my eye on a Tripp Trapp. It would get way more use then our Eddie Bauer ever did. With DD we splurged on a really nice compact convertible single to double stroller. I love my City Select!

@angielayne926 I'm sorry you are having issues with your childcare provider. I truly hope it was nothing detrimental. I know was my top fear and the reason I took such an attachment to working in childcare. I've opened my own home daycare and treat every baby that walks into my home like they are my own. Hopefully you get things taken care of!

@maddielynn321 Good luck at your A/S. Hopefully it will put a lot of your worries aside.

@mrsblack11 My H is a picky eater as well! Those boys don't know what their missing! So sorry to hear about your friend.

@tlc35 My doctor wants to use my LMP putting me at 8/2 due date though tech said baby is right on track with my O date. I don't want to leave this wonderful check in. Its cozy here so I'm staying! Congratulations on hearing baby on the Doppler. Hope yours comes soon!

@natalie115 Glad you are starting to feel baby moving more. That's exciting. Our big purchase with DD was my stroller. Hands down best decision I made. I put my Baby Jogger City Select and all the attachments on my registry and gained 10% off when the registry was complete. I don't regret a penny!

38 weeks, pumpkin

How are you feeling?

Excited to be in this final countdown! And big.

Favorite moment of the week?

We had friends over at our house on Sunday for pancakes and mimosas while watching football. It was a fun day.

Least favorite moment of the week?

My prenatal appointment today. The OB had a hard time finding the HB and wasn't sure if she was finding mine or if the baby was having decelerations. So, she sent me over to L&D for a NST just to be safe. Of course, MH has been to all of my appts up until now and this is the one he misses. Everything looked great though and I was told it was a textbook NST. I could see the contractions I was having on the monitor, but they were painless.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones?

I just feel big and my SPD/low back pain has gotten worse because of it. It means that baby is growing though, so that makes it easier to deal with.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?

I was freaking out today because of my appointment, but am doing really well now. LO is having a little dance party right now. <:-P

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to?

My OB's appointment schedule is completely full until 2 weeks after I'm due. Boo! I sent him a message and asked what he wants me to do and he said he'd look at his schedule and try to make room. As of right now, I don't know when my next appointment will be, but he wants them every week. So....?

I would love a new car for myself. For baby, lots of adorable clothes and a jogging stroller.

@angielayne926 I’m sorry you had issues with your DC provider, but I’m glad you were able to find someone quickly. I can imagine how freaked and upset you must have been. Thanks for taking over the check-in!

@maddielynn321 FX for you tomorrow! My u/s (from this pregnancy and my losses) have all been in the same place and it’s scary to be back. ((hugs))

@hmr110913 Yay for hearing the HB! Try not to stress too much about your post today. I think you handled it really well and I know you didn’t mean to hurt anyone. You put on your BGP and apologized, that’s what’s important.
