I registered for a RnP, because every raves about them although I whole heartedly do not plan to have baby sleep nights in it. It would just be for rocking and maybe naps.
Then I saw the mamaroo and now I'm in love with it!
I don't really want to register for both, so STMs which would you say register for?
Re: Mamaroo vs RnP?
As for the RNP, it was a lifesaver for us. Our daughter's reflux was bad enough that if she didn't sleep on an incline, she'd reflux and choke. I realize that the RNP isn't marketed for sleeping overnight and I also know its use in that manner isn't without controversy. However, you do what works for your baby and you do it safely. Our pedi had no problem with her sleeping in it so long as she got sufficient tummy time. We also used a Boppy head support. Never had a problem. She slept great in it and easily transitioned back to a flat surface in one night.

We had the original RNP. No auto rocker. Think that's all you need!
