Usually I share my awfully embarrassing stories on FB (which there are a lot it seems) but no one there would understand. I have been here a short time but you ladies sucked me in and I have since become addicted.

I do things like use Bump acronyms in text messages that totally confuse the person I am sending them too and now my phone autocorrects "my" to "MH". But I did something completely over the top yesterday, so embarrassing that I don't even know wtf to do.

I have noticed lately that when I respond to people on FB about problems they are having, I tend to respond like I would respond to someone here, which may not be a bad thing but...

Last night I had just got done working out. I was tired and completely out of it, obviously. I got an email from a client on an update for a project (I have a vendor on site somewhere installing a scanner). His update said that he had a snafu with the software version.

My response... "I am sorry you hit a snafu. *hug*"

ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?? I sent that to him..and my client was on the email.

So I leave you with all of my reactions after I hit send.

omg!! hahahaha. I'm so sorry, that is embarrassing, but really kind of cute too. Give it a few days, you'll feel like you can come out of hiding.

Oh, that's definitely embarrassing.

I would say just to ignore the fact that it happened and hope that he does too. If he brings it up just say "Did I? I was half asleep. Sorry."

I hope your client can just laugh it off, they did use "snafu" so maybe a sense of humor?

I use Bump acronyms ALL THE TIME. I texted my DH last week and told him we needed to HIO. He texts back "what is HIO", I said "Hump It Out", he said "did you really just say hump?"

Oh my! I agree with previous posters, let it be. If you feel like you need to say something though, i would just say "I was reviewing my email I sent you and realized I sent you virtual hugs!" Then apologize and blame it on us (i.e. I've been supporting a lot of friends via text lately and virtual hugs was all I could give.)

Did you read the one where I was doing my OPK test in the work bathroom and someone was in the stall next to me? Well, I dropped my piss cup and it rolled into the stall with my co worker! Luckily it was BEFORE I pissed in it.

That was the same day that I dropped the test strip in front of a coworker on my way back to my office.

so funny you posted this today because I had a dream last night that I sent an email to my mentor that started "Hiiiiii lady!!!" (how I start most PMs, posts, texts) and in the dream I was trying to frantically figure out how to unsend it like in Gmail but I sent the email in Outlook and I couldn't make it go away. I woke up like a shot and spent 10 minutes trying to figure out if it actually happened. I was *horrified.* I am so sorry that happened to you!!!!

Play it off. Maybe your personality at work is different than on here, but if it is anything similar - just smile and laugh it off if anyone says anything. If you get crickets - then roll with that!

Well I have not yet heard back so I am guessing I won't .I just have no idea what possessed me to do something so bat shit crazy. I think I am losing my mind! $:\$ ">

@TowerClimbersWife I am pretty similar at work as I am here (minus the stories about me and MH's sex life

) and I would be totally fine with it if it was just sent to my co workers.

But this was sent to my client and a vendor that we hired to install the hardware. They don't know me like that and I've never even met them -_-

On a good note at least is was't to one of my big clients with 50 people on the email!
