7 months old and still trying to get our sleeping arrangements settled.

My LO is just over 7 months old and sleeps in a bassinet and bed shares with me as he is still breastfeeding every 1.5-2 hours during the night. He is obviously getting too big for his bassinet and his crib is in his nursery which we are unable to use at this time (after buying our house, we found out that his room does not have insulation in one wall which makes the temperature in there too unstable and cold and his crib is too big to get out of his nursery and into to our room).

Does anyone have any ideas about what he can sleep in in our room now that his bassinet is too small and we can't use his crib at this time? Anything I see online has a weight limit of 15 lbs. I want him to have enough room to comfortably move around.

Thanks. Any ideas are welcome. He is FAR from sleeping through the night and I am pulling for anything right now.

Do you have a pack 'n' play? LO sleeps in one when we're travelling and it's great! They're not too expensive and I'm sure you could find one used.

Can you move the crib into your room? A pac n play? Fix the insulation?

I would say fix the bedroom because if temperature is a problem now, it will continue to be when you do decide to move him to his own room.

Agree that Pack n' Play is a good choice in the interim, but I'd put my money to remedying the issue.
