How close (or far) did you guys schedule your baby's 12-month immunizations from their 1st birthday? The nurse said it would be even more this time (7 shots) and I know some babies might be more sensitive to the effects, thus might affect them enjoying their party.
Re: 12-month immunizations and birthday party
Anyway, neither of mine had a reaction that lasted beyond that day. Usually their party was the weekend closest to their birthday and the shots sometime after.

I spoke with the nurse and it looks like it is six different shots with the flu vaccine already done. They said they give the standard vaccinations(MMR, Hib, PCV, HepA) that age and typically all that once. There is the option to space out if that was a concern. It's just concerning since most of the moms here did not have their babies receive that many? Then, she said the 16-month check up has NO shots and only one at the 18-month (HepA) so there is a big break (and relief) after. *sigh*

She turns one on a Sunday so I'm scheduling her appointment for the week after.
