NBR: Your wedding dress

We are anticipating moving next summer/fall and need to purge a lot of our stuff. We are moving from roughly 1000 sq ft to less than 500 sq ft because we are moving into the loft above my parent's garage to save and build our own home eventually. H jokingly mentioned my wedding dress being in our basement and it got me thinking. What have you other ladies done with your dress? Mine was tea length so it doesn't take up a lot of space, but I have zero use for it now. I don't have girls to pass it to but getting rid of it makes me slightly sad.

    Mine stays in the closet but I don't think I could ever part with it. I have a hard time letting go of sentimental things though

    My sister had her wedding dress and my bridesmaid dress turned into a blanket, but it just sits in a drawer. I like the idea of doing something cool with it. Maybe I should get on Pinterest. One day soon I will try it on and be depressed on how my boobs have grown and deflated.

    Mine is preserved in a box in one of our closets. I don't think I could get rid of it. I do have a girl, but I doubt she would want it.

    It took me three years to send it in to preserve it. Before that, I would try it on every year on our anniversary. I don't think it would fit anymore though.

    Mine is in my closet. I would love to make it short and dye the bottom so it could be worn again.

    I made my daughter's christening gown out of my dress. Had her initials and baptism date embroidered on the bottom. My second daughter used the same dress and had her initials and baptism date embroidered on the bottom.
