I've had my dress for 6 years now, but never wore it.
Back story:
DH and I were trying to plan a June wedding, decided on a date then all of my extended family said they couldn't make it. So I wanted to change the date because I wanted family there obviously. Then the new date, DH's family couldn't make it. Got fed up with people not trying to make it to our big day and expecting us to continue to rearrange it. So we decided to just have our immediate families come and go to the court house and get it done that way. Then have a big reception later on. Bought a cheap formal dress (wasn't even white) and DH just wore slacks and a buttoned down shirt. Morning of the wedding had the worst snow day and everything was closed. Future FIL called some people and we ended up getting married in a church instead. Which was wonderful and it was December so they had a nice big Christmas tree and it was just really what was supposed to happen.
Then before our one year anniversary, I finally bought the dress I wanted and we never had the reception. DH lost his job and all the money saved for that was then used for financial reasons. So....I have a dress that just sits in its garment bag waiting to be worn. DH says on our ten year anniversary we will renew vows and I'll finally get to wear my dress. We shall see!
Thanks to google here's a picture of my dress, since I don't have any pics of it and don't consider the formal dress I wore on my wedding day, to be my actual wedding dress.
I was 5 weeks pregnant here! I remember going for my final dress fitting the week before the wedding and it was too tight! I was slightly panicked and the lady that was altering it was wondering why it didn't fit. I told her my period was due to start that weekend and I was probably just bloated (TMI for her but I didn't care). Well, I got my BFP that Saturday. I took my dress back to her on Monday and explained why the dress was tight so she took it out a little and all was good for my wedding on Friday!
Oh I will play too! I loved my dress! We got married in June and it was 99 outside. We planned it in 4 weeks because I was done waiting after 6.5 years and we did it at my parents house who live in a beautiful canyon. Everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to! I think I was already drunk by the time we got to the alter because I was having panic attacks and just kept drinking while we were all getting ready. Best day ever!
I chose these just b/c I really loved the church where we got married, and the darker one I feel like you can see more details of the pick-ups on my dress. It was a corset style top and had some pearl accents. This was also a little over 7 years ago and I totally would have picked something else if I had really been patient about my dress buying process, but I felt kind of pushed into this by my mom. Oh well.
Omg I love wedding dresses!! Of course I'll play (and anything to procrastinate work). I'm a face cropper so sorry you don't get to enjoy my lovely mug Married 3 years in April.

I see your 5 weeks pregnant, and raise you 13 weeks pregnant:
Love looking at all these gorgeous dresses! Now I want to get married again! Here's mine. I had the strap added and the neckline changed from straight to sweetheart.
@Jcrewgirl85 , maybe it can be a new Monday thing? Since the Monday b***hfest thread hasn't happened in a while. And yes, I starred out the word because I don't curse ;-)
Love the dresses! Now I'm sad we don't have any good wedding photos, turns out our photographer sucked. Also I have no idea where our wedding photos are, so here are some from FB. I loved the dress but hated the tailoring and the bustle. I thought they ruined my dress! FFFC, I still haven't had it dry cleaned!
Love all the dresses!! I haven't looked back at our wedding pictures in so long! I wish it was here again but with DD with us!
No real big story for us but we picked a day in June, booked a place but really couldn't tell exactly where we would be getting married because there was snow on the ground still (it was a golf course). When we went for our tasting we saw that the area was on the putting green (holes everywhere) and the tent the reception was going to be in was in terrible shape. The food also sucked. I sad because it was on a mountain so the view was amazing but everything else sucked. So we chose a different place and they didn't have our date available so we moved it up a weekend. Our photographers also didn't have our orginal date available so I guess it worked out! In the end it was a great day! I really wanted to get married outside and I was so afraid it was going to rain. It did rain but stopped for our ceremony and pictures! As soon as we were done pictures it started pouring again!
These are a few pictures. It was so hard to pick just a few! Oh also since my dad passed away when I was 3 I had my 14 (at the time) year old nephew walk me down the aisle because we are super close! Isn't he so cute!
Fun! I'll join in. We got married in the Spring and I always dreamed of an outdoor wedding. The day was beautiful, but then it started pouring out 5 minutes before the ceremony! Everything still turned out perfectly though. I wish I could go back and re-live that day!
Got my dress at a bridal consignment shop. I was too cheap and would have never been able to afford this dress brand new. Fit like a glove too! Also, I always wanted ruby red slippers, got my chance...

I have you beat. I sold my dress and veil online and bought a puppy.

I love seeing all your pictures. Everyone looks beautiful :-)
I never wore my dress. It's still in the box it came in, actually.
Long story short: H already had my ring when when found out I was KU. Got engaged quickly, wanted to get married quickly. MIL didn't want us to go to JOP (we did) so she offered to plan something small. I ordered this dress. She never planned anything so we went to JOP a few months later. (the long version of this story as A LOT more drama)
Maybe we will renew our vows in a few years and I will be able to fit into it again by then.
This was the picture on David's Bridal site. It's not sold anymore.
I tried mine on a few months ago to show my DD (shes really into the princess thing now). She like the dress but was afraid of the veil ha! So funny she made me put the veil in the closet. Eta: meant to mention DD was 2.5 yrs old and not my May baby
Next Monday pictures- if you're able to access your wedding dress try it on and snap a pic??
Ummm... That's dangerous. I can see the headline now... Bazingaa collapses into sobbing mess after realizing that not only does the dress no longer fit, but it will be getting tighter by the day. That's just a recipe for ruining my day. )
