Hi grads! How are you? I hope you're staying warm during this cold snap over much of the eastern half of the country. MH and I saw a large SUV spin around on the freeway yesterday. It stayed on the road and didn't hit anything, but it looked scary for the occupants.
QOTW: What do you think about screen time for kids (meaning the amount of time they spend in front of a screen, whether computer, TV, cellphone, ipad-like device, etc.)?
IVF#1 (w/ICSI): BCP 9/9-9/23. Gonal-F, Ganirelix, Low-dose HCG (antagonist protocol). 41R/35M/32F... 2 transferred on 10/14, 14 frosties! On cabergoline to help avoid OHSS. BFN, possibly because of 90% drop in estrogen and progesterone a few days after ET.
FET#1: Transferring 2 on January 8. BFP! beta#1 (1/17): 408, beta#2 (1/20): 1310, first u/s scheduled 2/5
I am 32 wks. Babies have dropped, head down positions which helps me breathe and sleep better. I will be having weekly growth scans from now on. Heartburn is the only symptom that is still awful. I decided i need to rest before delivery so my last day of work is next Fri.
Hi - sorry to be late to the check-in. I am 38+2... so getting close and still won't believe it till we have our LO. No indication that things are moving along - baby has not dropped yet. Cervical checks won't happen till week 39 (very sensitive cervix and bled a LOT after group B strep test so since everything is on track they won't do checks until next week - which is fine with me - heavy bleeding after that test freaked me out - esp since it continued for 4 days - if it wasn't for the baby moving I would have lost my mind!)

I am hoping to limit screen time to none in year 1 and then assess after that - maybe cartoon on TV every now and again. I would like to completely avoid iphone/ipad screens - the only exception if we are on a flight and have a cartoon on there. This is what I say now... everyone says that things change once you actually have a baby....so we'll see.
Hope all of you are having a good start to the New Year. Sending you positive thoughts that this is the year - and hopefully month for you to move to PAIF!
@vpine Glad you can breathe and sleep better. How thoughtful of the babies to give you a respite before they arrive :-P
@lady2010 The whole idea of pregnancy seems surreal. Regarding screen time, I've often heard (and experienced) that plans are nice but often bear little resemblance to reality. I like your ideas. We'll see if that works ;-)
