January PAL Siggy Challenge: Good Advice
I'm starting BCP this week and we have our injections class on Thursday! Finally we're getting somewhere!
QOTD: easy-- law & order: SVU hubs understands that I have an insatiable love for Det. Elliott Stabler that cannot be denied.
@BootsOrHearts: I feel ya on the annoyance of waiting for AF...it's like watching a pot boil...
@saysjess: Good luck with the class! It's not too bad once you realize that sticking yourself with needles isn't the worst thing in the world :-)
@ashleyat87: Yay for being close to stimming!
@RG1979: That's a great number to start with!
AFM, I'm still sitting here, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for AF. FF is now saying that I at least ovulated last week, so FX next week I'll get a visit from her. I've never wanted AF so bad in my life...
QOTD: One show...that's super tough. Right now it's Scandal because I'm JUST getting into it and binge-watched the first 4 episodes on Netflix.
08/2011: Clomid 50mg, IUI --> BFN ,
10/2011: Clomid 100mg, IUI --> BFN
04/13: Clomid, IUI BFP --> MC at 6w1d
05/13: Femara 2.5mg, IUI --> BFN , 08/13: Femara 2.5mg --> BFN
03/14: Femara 5mg, IUI --> 1 follicle @ 27d --> BFP! EDD 12/02/14--> blighted ovum, missed MC 6w6d --> D&C
4/23: D&C...starting over again, with a little part of my heart broken off
7/14: Femara 5mg + brevelle + menopur + IUI --> converted to IVF, ER 7/28 --> ET cancelled due to severe OHSS.
9/20/14: Frozen Embryo Transfer --> BFP--> EDD 6/6/15 --> MC at 5w3d
10/16/14: Frozen Embryo Transfer --> BFN
2/6/15: Frozen Embryo Transfer --> BFP --> MC at 5w4d
3/20/16: PGS-tested Frozen Embryo Transfer --> BFP, Living Child born 12/1/15
6/6/17: Fresh IVF Cycle --> Severe OHSS, 5 PGS-tested embryos frozen
2/23/18: PGS-tested FET --> BFN
3/30/18: Cancelled cycle due to lining 4.2mm
I started Lupron last night, one stick a night is definitely manageable compared to 5 sticks a day while stimming. I have a bit of a headache today but I think a lot of that is weather-related. I have surgery on Wednesday and at this point, I just want to get it over with so we can move forward drama-free (it sounds good, doesn't it!) with the prepping for FET.
@RG1979 - I hope all your frosties keep growing!
QOTD- One show I can watch all this time is NCIS. Luckily, it is on USA enough that I can be a happy woman when there isn't anything else on TV.
****/
Hope your Monday is going well. Tomorrow I have an U/S and B/W and I start Lupron! Yay! I've never been so excited to start sticking myself with needles again!
QOTD: Definitely SHERLOCK! My fave show ever and Benedict Cumberbatch is oh so sexy!
AF finally arrived yesterday. The nurse got back to me - I get to remain a Flurry! I start BC and antibiotics tonight. I still need to have my trial transfer and saline sonogram, and I am supposed to have them before my nurse consult, which is Monday. The scheduling people are trying to figure out when I can fit this in. It is the last week of the semester, and I would hate to be gone for finals, but whenever they can fit me in I will go.
Xposting from january check in!
Had u/s and blood work yesterday. We have 8 follies that are at 11-20mm! Still plugging along with Bravelle and amenopur, but we stopped Clomid and added Cetrotide. Will find out tomorrow if the ER will be Thursday or Friday.
@ashleyat87 we had the same talk, and if we can, we will be asking for 2. It depends on how many frosties we get though. Good luck on your decision!

Hello Flurries!!
AF showed up today!! Thanks @bootsorhearts ! My nurse had me start BCP tonight. I have my endometrial scratch scheduled for next Monday. I stop the BCP on the 25th. Then I wait for AF once again! I am a little nervous about only being on BCP for two weeks before having another period. This seems really rushed to me. Has anyone encountered a short time between periods and did it mess up your next period?
QOTD - I love Dowton Abbey!!
