2. How have you been feeling this week?
Sick, but not pregnancy related!
3. Any big appointments or milestones?
Tomorrow will be one week without Zofran! I have an ob appt on Friday.
4. Highlights or struggles of the week?
Sickness! Tuesday P started getting sick. Wednesday he was diagnosed with (his first!) an ear infection and upper respiratory infection. That night DH was up twice puking bc his sinuses were draining so much. We ended up taking P to the ER Saturday night bc he was coughing so hard that he was almost choking on the mucous. Then I started getting a horrible sore throat. P and I are still sick, but DH is better.
5. QOTW: How did you and your SO/DH meet? Bonus points for sharing how long you have been together.
We met at the camp that I used to work at. He was 15 and I was 17. We lived about an hour apart so we emailed and instant messaged to maintain a friendship. We started dating 1.5 years later. We have been together 10 years; married for 6 this coming May.
2. How have you been feeling this week? I have been having very uncomfortable contractions that don't seem to be doing anything. I have been going on about 2 hours of sleep per nigh due to my insomnia, and when I actually do sleep, I wake up choking on my reflux. Needless to say, I'm not a happy camper right now.
3. Any big appointments or milestones? I just had my appointment today and was so disappointed. My OB was called out and I saw the NP, who I do love, but she won't strip membranes until 40 weeks (which I will be on Thursday). My OB told me she was going to do it today. So I am still at 2cm, 50% and +2, which has not changed in 3 weeks. I was ready to cry when I found out she wouldn't strip my membranes.
4. Highlights or struggles of the week?
Struggles: still being pg! I really don't want to use any time from work before she comes because I only qualified for 8 weeks, but I am having trouble walking to the bathroom due to the pain I have been feeling. Now I have to decide that if I'm going to go to work tomorrow or not. Emotionally I am just so drained at this point, I'm sure the the complete and utter lack of sleep is not helping this. And to think, with DS I was able to do almost anything up until the day before he was born. If I only knew how easy that was at the time.
5. QOTW: How did you and your SO/DH meet? Bonus points for sharing how long you have been together. DH and I met on-line. We have been together for almost 7 years and married for over 5.
@mamalamb10 -YAY for feeling some of those 2nd tri feelings. It's always nice to have some energy back.
@KikiCohen - YAY for 1 week Zofran free! I hope everyone feels better soon. It's no fun being sick and taking care of a sick LO at the same time.
