I did the baking soda test this morning even though I am only 8 weeks 2 days. Didn't fizzle which means girl and that's what I'm really hoping for! Has anyone else tried this out yet?

Baking soda test is when you basically mix your first morning urine with baking soda. If it fizzes it means boy and if it doesn't it means girl.

Last pregnancy I was a FTM and wanted to experience everything baby / pregnancy related - so I mixed my urine with baking soda. Not once, but like three times (flame away, I have since learned from my mistakes), anyways twice I had girl results and once a boy. I ended up having a boy. Old Wives Tales are pretty much a joke. You have a 50% chance of having a girl, and 50% of having a boy. Instead of wasting all that baking soda on a urine concoction, just bake yourself some yummy cookies:)

Hi there! Well there is a 50% chance that the test is right! I hope it is for you Im sure DH and I will try some of those old wives tales tricks for fun. We will be finding out the sex via US as soon as we can so itll be fun to compare what worked for us and what didn't.
