Symptoms / Milestones: just getting bigger and a little uncomfortable. had some really weird back/abdominal pain the other night that made me worry something was up, but it passed quickly and hasn't been back. still just really hoping she has turned head down or will soon! have an appt this afternoon so i'll find out.
Still at work? yup.
Are you all ready for baby to arrive or do you still have things to do? My baby shower was Saturday - so fun! I went from feeling totally unprepared to feeling like she could come and we could handle it. Pretty exciting! Last night I built the mamaroo, infant to toddler rocker, and pack n play. I also picked up her crib bedding Saturday (I had it made by a family friend) and I am so in love with it I could cry. It's all coming together! Sorry for my novel.
Symptoms/Milestones: I had a weird moment at our birthing class yesterday where my entire back was suddenly tensed and painful as DH was trying a massage technique with a tennis ball (it made it worse instead of helping). Not so sure we'll be using that again lol.
Still at work? Only for short hours to rehearse students 2-3x a week. The managing I cover from home.
Are you all ready for baby to arrive or do you still have things to do? I wish our nursery furniture would arrive already so we could properly decorate/organize, but we'll be able to function a while without it, using what we have. We're also both hoping to make it to the last hospital class before she arrives so we get some childcare CPR/practice in before we're dealing with the real thing!
Symptoms / Milestones: Crazy prodromal labor and a ton of Braxton Hicks contractions
Still at work? : This is my last week, and I've decided to kick things off by working from home
Are you all ready for baby to arrive or do you still have things to do?: Between the things left over from DD1 and the few new things we've recently picked up, we're definitely ready.
Physically, I'm more than ready. This super sized kiddo is killing my hips, back, pelvis, legs. Everything! I'm in constant pain. It's horrible.
Still at work? Yup. Last day is February 6th. (edd 02.16.2015)
Are you all ready for baby to arrive or do you still have things to do? I'm INCREDIBLY ready, but still have a lot to do. Had the baby shower this last weekend, so there are things to return and things to purchase.
3. So uncomfortable. Sharp pains on my right side all weekend. Heavy feeling in my chest which is all normal I guess Ready for the pg part to be over!! Guess I'm doing ok for a 46.5 yr old...
4. Still working. Not sure how long will last. Maybe asking boss if I can cut my hours some closer to due date. Positive is that I work in a home so worse case I don't feel well I can at least lay down
Think I'm ready!! Just need few pics hung up in nursery. Clothes are washed. Car seat and rocker still need to be put together. Get rid of some clutter then I think we're good.
ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11.
2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do
"shared" program.
Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months.
Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
Symptoms / Milestones: definitely getting BH contractions more often. Starting to get evening lower back/abdominal cramping that goes away in the morning (prodromal labor I suppose).
Still at work? I'm a SAHM, so I never get to stop working I suppose ;-)
Are you all ready for baby to arrive or do you still have things to do? Well, we have diapers, clothes, car seat, hospital bag, and the bassinet ready. So, technically we are ready. But the "nursery" is still being used by BIL (supposedly moving out by Feb), so the crib and changing table are in there, the dresser is still in the box, and the guest bed is still there. We'll make it work.
Symptoms/milestones: I'm getting very tired lately not sleeping well. She has dropped down low and is pushing her way out slowly lol at least that's what it feels like!
Still at work? I was a student taking 6 classes but graduated in December so no SAHM with my almost 3 year old and this one we are waiting for
Are we ready? Put in the car seat this weekend washed all the clothes and have changing table set up. Just need my new diaper bag and a crib mattress! My toddler is using the one we had in her bed so we have a crib and no mattress but it's set up next to my side of the bed. Getting there but still have time!
