do you have a journal? or a blog?

I am thinking of starting a new blog to put down my thoughts, but I am not sure I want it to be "public."  Anyone have a secret public journal, or do you keep a regular old pen to paper journal at home?

  • I have a password protected blog.  Close family can log in, and it's mostly cute pictures/anecdotes of the kids.  Not so much deep thoughts and feelings.  I like it because I can email/text in entries and its a good repository for everything.  If it *was* thoughts and feelings that I didn't want to share with family, I would probably just open a "to me" gmail account where I could send things.

  • We have a private website/blog to share pictures and updates with our family as we don't live near them and it's a way to keep everyone updated.  It is also password protected.
What website do you use, if you don't mind me asking? I'm interested in starting a blog of my own.

  • I have a personal blog. I use it as a journal pretty much. I document our lives, talk about goals/stories and use it for weight loss support. The only people I know in real life that know it exists are my husband, mom and brother. I've formed a circle of blog friends and they are a great support system.

  • Do texting and FB statuses count? :-/

I have a journal that I write in for the kids. Memories, milestones, messages. I get my fix for public interaction here.
