I was hooked up to the monitors and the machine started printing out bpm in the 90's when I asked the nurse she said it was nothing. Does this make sense to anyone else?

They sent me home and think I have a virus as several other woman came in with the same symptoms. I don't trust them as the attending never examined me. So I'm calling the mfm first thing in the am.

Also they didn't send my culture out for BV.

    Whaaaaaa?!? Yeah...... Call your MFM ASAP.

    I assume the leaking has stopped? And was it confirmed amniotic fluid?

    Yes the leaking stopped. It was not Af but I had the same thing happen with LO and I never turned a fern test yet her fluid level kept getting lower. Then the MFM did a special test and it came back as Af. It was a really bad experience tonight I feel like they were just trying to get me out.

    I agree things don't sound right with what happened at the hospital tonight. I still say contact MFM. Did they do an u/s? With your history, I'm baffled with they way things sound like they were handled.

    I astounded that you can't find decent medical care. Wtf? AF smells vaguely sweet, compared to the acidic smell of urine.

    Luv, I pray that everything is okay. I don't think that camping on your mfm doc's office door first thing in the morning would be out of order.

    They should not have sent you home until you felt absolutely comfortable with that decision and knew exactly what was going on.  Definitely call.
