GTKY: Happy Dance Song

Hey ladies! So it's ridiculous, but every time I hear the new Pitbull song, Time of Our Lives, I do my happy dance - which is basically me dancing in my chair.

So what's your happy dance song? Whenever you hear it, you can't keep still, you just gotta do something...post it if you can!

    I have a lot of songs that make me want to dance. I was listening to Foster the People's "Don't Stop (Color on the Walls)" at work today and tapping my foot. It's a fun song and video (it has Gabourey Sidibe!). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlAgHt92lqE

    @agpjt413- Yay, another Foster fan! I've seen them twice in concert and they are amazing. Love both of their albums. 

    OMG, twerking Corgis is awesome. I think I'm going to watch it at least five more times tonight!

    Mine is Wil Pherrel's Happy.  Anytime I hear that song, I just can't help but dance.  I'm thinking of playing it everyday when my kids come into class starting in February.

    you guys have no idea how many times i've ugly cried to the damn song post-loss, it's like my weirdo vindication song that eventually it will all be OK... even though i think it's technically about the formation of the e-street band. whuteva. i'm from jersey, his name is tattooed on my body, and if you need me, i'll be wine-induced dancing to the song in my cat pajamas for the rest of the night. i also am just learning how to insert .gifs, so have fun with mondo-sized bruce!

    @Nikolie93 Like you, I am all about dancing to 80's music.  I have a Pandora station based off of The Final Countdown, and most of the songs that come up are dance worthy for me.
    Today found me on my bike trainer doing dances with my arms while peddling when Journey came on....along with belting out the song. 
    We met in middle school. We got married 15 years later in a February blizzard of 2010.

    @crimpgirl- I love Marina and the Diamonds. "Primadonna" and "How to be a Heartbreaker" are two of my favorite songs. Her music is so fun.

    LOL  yea the "old lady" still shakes it every now & then. I think it's a docked tail dog thing....my aussies do it too especially Buck. I call 'em my wigglebutts :D I mean it's impossible not too smile when they start "shakin' it".

     

    As far as happy dance song, I'm a throwback lady too. I may or may not have been dancing to Thriller on my way home from work a couple days ago. Also almost fell off the elliptical once at the gym bc of Footloose.

    My ultimate happy songs (no dancing required) are ACDC's 'Big Balls', The Beach Boys 'Kokamo' and the Hawaiian/ukulele version of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'

    Today, a friend who is getting married this summer asked me to put together a playlist for when us bridesmaids are getting ready for the wedding and it's been so fun!

    Right now, I'm listening to "Somebody Who Loves Me" by Whitney Houston. I also added fun songs like "Super Bass" by Nicki Minaj, "Marry You" by Bruno Mars, "Dear Future Husband" by Meghan Trainor, and "Crazy in Love" by Jay-Z and Beyonce. I've been dancing in my chair all day!

    @flyoffeve Thanks for posting that.  I love Offspring.  "Self Esteem" and "Keep Em Seperated" are my all time favorite songs.  I had not heard that one yet, but I like it.
