I had a tough day today at work - one of my residents was being difficult and I overdid it and ended up having a flipping feeling and some cramping and pressure.
Went to the hospital after work where they did a dip test that came out negative. They also did a vaginal and confirmed that the bleeding is actually coming from a very soft cervix.
The big test was, of course, the betas. Mine are currently at only 38. Which obviously is higher than normal but not by much. The ER doctor said he thinks I might have just had a miscarriage because it was so early there was very little tissue to be passed. However, where there is something, he's written me a note to come back in 2 days to get them tested again and see which way they're going.
So, I guess we'll see on Tuesday.
