Hi all, I know it's strange to come to the breastfeeding group for advice on taking a bottle but I figured someone would share my experience. My LO has been a picky eater from the start. Pulling on and off my breast. Only eating every 5 hours. I had issues with oversupply, forceful letdown, mastitis, clogs, milk blebs on both nipples, you name it. He also is easily distracted and needs to be nursed in a quiet room with no distractions, not so easy with a hyperactive 3 year old.
I am ready to wean but my LO won't take more than 2 ounces from a bottle and I know he needs more. He sucks that bottle a few times and then wants nothing more to do with it. I have to keep guiding him back but he stops at 2 oz. any suggestions? he is now 7 months old. He also wakes 2 times a night to breastfeed which I don't mind. He is also a chunker even though he is a finicky eater, weighs 20 lbs.
